RavenMad
Papa, I seem to recall you predicting we would go 8-8 or close to it the last few seasons. We went much better than that. Told you so.
papasmurfbell
Papa, I seem to recall you predicting we would go 8-8 or close to it the last few seasons. We went much better than that. Told you so. Really? I said 10 wins this yr. I think I had 11 last yr. 2 yrs ago I can't remember. I was way off in Harbs first season. I am still suprised the O's pulled out what they did. I was way off on that prediction. I do not watch as hard at baseball. It is far more complicated than football. Also you should know that 16 teams don't make the playoffs. It is only 12. dc.
I didn't say 16 teams make the playoffs... there are 16 AFC teams and only one represents the AFC in the Super Bowl. I could say "This team won't make the Super Bowl" any given time for any given team and be right 93.75% of the time.
papasmurfbell
Before the season I could eliminate Cle, Tenn, Jax, Oak, SD, Cincy, Mia, Indy, and the Jets too.
dc.
Wow. Brilliant. Once again, you could say it about all 32 teams in the league and be right 94% of the time. What don't you get about this?
papasmurfbell
But there are some that are just not going to make it and you know ahead of time.
dc.
Saying "Team X won't make the Super Bowl" is not a predictive statement. It's a statistically obvious statement. The only predictive statement is to say who will. What don't you get about that? I'm done. This was goofy at first, now it's just painful.
