BengalBilly Posted January 29, 2013 Author Posted January 29, 2013 But everyone of them spray themselves with deer piss Yeah, that they do. A hunting scent thing. Back in my day I watched the leaves and hunted walking into the wind. I want no deer piss on me. Quote

BengalBilly Posted January 29, 2013 Author Posted January 29, 2013 When I lived in Pa, thats all you smelled outside this time of the year Right now here in Arizona the mule deer are pretty active. Seen a lot of does and a few smaller bucks. There is a big boy that passes through, but not often. He usually stays up in the tree line, but does come down and feed in the yard when the clover starts to flower. I was amazed on how big his rack was! Quote

vmax Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 It looks like the Ravens survived media day. John Harbaugh was great..so was Ed Reed. Good interview with Ozzie by Deion. Quote

thundercleetz Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 BengalBilly summed up the drug the best, its nothing more than a ghetto viagra. Ray did not fail any drug test. How about players that did fail drug tests but got off on a technicality, Richard Sherman or Ryan Braun? No one remembers any of these situations. Sherman's situation was only over a month ago. Everyone will forget about this as well. Anyways a Hopkins doctor came out and said that this substance would not contain any banned substances. http://www.baltimoresun.com/business/baltimore-sports-blog/bal-ray-lewis-denies-using-banned-substance-during-rehab-from-injury-20130129,0,7725655.story Quote

vmax Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Here's todays statements from Ray.... Lewis said "I've never, ever took what he says I was supposed to do. It's just sad that someone can have this much attention on a stage this big, where the dreams are really real. I don't need it, my teammates don't need it, the 49ers don't need it. Nobody needs it, because it just really shows you that people really plan things and try to attack people from the outside. It's just very foolish. The guy has no credibility."Lewis said this has served as one of his final lessons to teammates."Don't let people from the outside ever come and try to disturb what's inside," he said. "There's no man that's ever trained as hard as our team has trained. There's no man that's went through what we went through. So, to give somebody credit that doesn't deserve credit, that would be a slap in the face for everything that we went through."Lewis added, "I've been in this game for 17-plus good years, and I have a heck of relationship and too much respect for the business and my body to ever violate like that. For me and my teammates, I promise you that we have a strong group of men that don't bend too much, and we keep pushing forward. So, it's not a distraction for us."http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/71750/expect-agitated-ray-lewis-in-super-bowl I heard Preston on the radio this morning and he said this will unify the team and put the Ravens "over the top". They will be one angry, focused, intense team when they hit the field Sunday night. He said it's just what they needed and they will come out with that nasty Ravens "Us against the World" mentality. vmax Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Wow! When Preston says that, I'm impressed. Here's what he wrote.... I don't know where this Sports Illustrated report that says linebacker Ray Lewis took a banned substance will eventually lead Lewis or thisorganization, but it might have enough force to lead the Ravens to the LombardiTrophy Sunday night. There will be experts who say this type of report will be a distraction, butit will serve as a driving force. It will promote more team unity. The Ravenslove Lewis, especially the younger players who listen to his every word. Whenever No. 52 is attacked, the Ravens rally around him. I assume that willbe a major theme for the Ravens heading into the game with the 49ers. Theyalways wanted to win this last game for Lewis, and now they will want to win itmore. Ravens coach John Harbaugh won't need the perfect pre-game "boomalacher" for this one. It's already out there, presentedby Sports Illustrated. The Ravens have been underdogs heading into three playoffgames, but their "Us Against the World" mentality has never been stronger thanit is now.http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-baltimore-ravens-will-rally-around-ray-lewis-after-ped-allegations-20130130,0,3744032.story 1 Quote
