  1. Yeah, we all see great college receivers come here and flop. I've watched him in most of his games, sometimes he disappears, can't get ofd press coverage, sometimes it was just his average qb not able to get him the ball timely, or his route pressure caused him to be late to the mesh point. Just call me skeptical based on the history of this team and how they develop or should I say, haven't developed wide outs, OR, have drafted wide outs who just can't play in the NFL. They had to pick him, value there, BPA based on need, you don't stop drafting them because your are bad at it, heck, the Browns finally got. Qb after how many.misses? We are bound to draft a top wr eventually, right?
  2. Ow, ooch, stubbed my toe... Bateman, lots of Potential there but he gets nocked off of his routes, redirected pretty easily. Yes he has a second gear, but like a semi, it takes him a while to get into it... Decent pick if the Ravens can do the impossible and finnally develope a wide receiver.. Oweh, sure he has speed, but doesn't or hasn't shown instincts, rather waits to react and let his speed take him to the ball. He peeks into the backfield too long when trying to set the edge, in college his speed allowed him to hold the edge, that won't work in the pros. Now the Ravens are known for developing defensive linemen, he needs a lot of work. Really did not like this pick.
  3. Can't believe the Niners moved up for Lance over Fields!
  4. I think he aill do great, better than Lance, Riddick is a buffoon, has to qualify everything with; if he gets the right coaching....
  5. Nope, you are not.missing anything, even that low it would be a reach to draft an edge rusher there; best to take an offensive tackle & or trade down. I've seem mocks that show Bateman (wr Min) making it to 31 and the Ravens taking him, I hope not....
  6. Trade two uo to 15, take Chase, wide receiver, LSU
  7. The the.pick is in; the Ravens choose Bingo, from I'm an Idiot University
  8. Ack! I sprained my ankles so many times playing sports, that now I can't sprain them any more, the tendon is so elongated Made the mistake one aummer of playing a pick up game of hoops barefoot; sprained both ankles...
  9. Think Tommy John for pitchers; Acl's for linemen...
  10. What a load of crap, sorry Max. Dickerson played through the ankle injuries, has almost fully recovered from his knee injury (even doing cartwheels now). Dude is a stud, strongest lineman in the draft, smart, still quick. Road grader, very good at pass blocking in an offense with both statues and mobile qbs behind him.
  11. Na, take him at either first round pick, no sense waiting and losing him. Without the injury, he is a top 20 pick. From what I've seen, he is recovering very very well.
  12. Dickerson is the pick to make! They can land a good talent at tackle in later rounds.. Get that center, unless they feel Colon is worthy of starting. With 2 firsts, albeit low, maybe someone will slip into the mid- late teens they can trade up for... We shall see
  13. Payne scares me, maybe another Michigan wanna be who can't...
  14. NBC Sports: Ravens trade Orlando Brown Jr. to Chiefs, get 2021 first-rounder. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/04/23/ravens-trade-orlando-brown-jr-to-chiefs-get-2021-first-rounder/ Baltimore will get the Chiefs’ first-, third-, and fourth-round picks this year and a 2022 fifth-rounder while sending their 2021 second-round pick and a 2022 sixth-rounder to Kansas City. They now have the 27th and 31st picks of the draft and the Chiefs will pick 58th and 63rd next week Not bad, basically moving up from round two to the 31st, getting an extra 3rd & 4th round pick. Not sure they could get much better in this climate
  15. Tough call in this draft class. Some of the potential best at what the Ravens need are either slotted too high to trade up for or, opted out of 2020, leaving many questions about real talent. What do the Ravens need? An edge rusher, a true qb killer, offensive line help, ones who are good at reconnecting on broken plays as well as opening holes.. A wide out, a real one, but then, no matter how loud Eric yells, this franchise just can't ever seem to find one... A lot has to do with Zeus jr; what happens with him, if they trade him, an offensive tackle might be the first pick. They could also go safety, injuries in the secondary seem to be a yearly thing that bites this team
  16. Maybe he can teach them a thing or two about getting open on time
  17. Right on man! To coin a phrase back in time when we all got along, agreed to disagree. This was back before we had commercials where our food walked and talked amd people ate, even when food ate it each other. Oh wait, farmers amd their families have been doing that for centuries. We can blame tv, movies, video games for giving people ideas, for desensitizing kids, people to voilence. Remember scared straight, wonder how well that worked out for those kids, I know they tried to revive that show... I do think the media plays some roll, the shows that promise to fix our problems, the ones telling us how we "should feel" how "wrong" thinking or believing something is; sorry, this is America; we are free to think and feel as we want, that is one major reason our ancestors came to this country, built this country. This includes, sadly, being a rascist, a fascist, what ever, it's your right. What isn't your right is to keep me from thinking, being different. Funny, those shows, the media, are actually being anti-American.
  18. Ack! 4 wins for everyone!
  19. Don't get me wrong Max, it is a great place to enjoy the game, I've always had a blast at the stadium, even in five layers in the cold of winter. It just would be nice to see a concert, even the olympics here if there was a retractable roof. It's too late now for one, but even with the $200 mil more spent back then, this city would have made it back by now. As we all know, stadiums rarely make it past the payoff point before it gets demolished for the tax payers to buy another one....
  20. NBC Sports: Report: Alejandro Villanueva set to visit with Ravens. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/04/19/report-alejandro-villanueva-set-to-visit-with-ravens/
  21. The truly sad part is that people read what they want to see, not what is really there; media. Yes, this article did a fairly good job of separating the gun violence, but they missed by including all of it under one head line grabbing statement; mass shootings. "Shoot", pardon the pun, a vast, vast majority of the mass shootings, the gun violence is done by shhh, GANGS! Just look at Chicago for the perdect example, it is "nothing" for them to have 50 people shot over a weekend, to have a mass shooting of 5 or more at a "child's birthday party. Tell me, why is that, gang related mass shooting, not having flags at half staff, headlines in every news agency? Yet when they talk about gun violence, mass shootings, those 50 people are included, those 5+ people killed at a gang birthday party are included. Gun laws? Maine has the loosest gun laws in the nation for the most part, how many shootings, mass killings happen there? Chicago/Illinois has some of the strictest.. I'm not sure what the answer is, gun laws are tight, strict for the most part, if a person wants to kill a lot of people, they will find a way, gun or no gun, the B word is easy to find out how to make them on the web, get supplies at your local groccery store... But for the love of all people, filter out those shot/killed with illegal guns by gangs, from those killed/shot with legal guns done out of "desperation".....
  22. Hey, it's tax payer money, so anything will go...
  23. Yeah, they got too cute with the architecture, ends up costing far more down the road as we see now....
