  1. Don't bother to factor in the bad defenses they faced when the offense "improved". I understand wanting to not have to have another offensive coordinator for Joe & the offense to adjust to, five is enough... Nonetheless, the offense was bad even with the scoring improvement; look no further than the lack of touchdowns when starting drives from their own 25 or less... The lack of scoring touchdowns given the number of turnovers the defense created. Using Pita as an injury example, as if they truly depended on him after 2 hip surgeries! If they truly did, this coaching staff is more screwed up than we thought.
  2. Plenty of players on the defensive line, but they did not have the energy to put pressure on qbs late in games, late in the season. The offensive line, while not great, could not sustain its energy late in games, late in the year. That is training and conditioning, even with the "new" coach, same issue as years past.
  3. & the conditioning coaches, let us not forget them, this team never ran out of gas.....
  4. Well, we have to look which qbs this off season will be traded or released. Eli, Cousins, I thought maybe Dalton but with Marv back as coach that long shot is now shot. If Foles does well in the playoffs, does his stock rise again?
  5. Moore went out with a concussion, Mister Glass went out with an injured ankle from stepping on a weight bag. So the last series, because of coaching decisions, Wallace & an untested rookie were the only receivers left on the field. So it was two tight ends and 2 wide outs against 8 man coverage with an offensive line that forgot how to pass block 3 rushers. So please, who ever wrote that crap in their blog, let us be a little honest...
  6. Good, should take the temptation away. I don't think his health will hold up for coaching....
  7. Yeah, I don't think the Jets go after him also, no way Chub, as good as he is, goes before Barkley.
  8. Zeus Jr is much like his dad, he gets lazy and relies on his size. He struggles with speed rushers and even with his size, he doesn't get a lot of straight ahead push because he can't get low. He is likely a right tackle, even then I expect a very low 2nd, mid round 3rd for him. Lots of linemen in this draft.
  9. Ozzie has never thought a center was of major importance, he thinks Jensen is just fine....
  10. You know I want him on this team, He might be there in the 2nd, because of his height. But I too would trade down to the early 20's to nab him just to be sure. He has it all, sure, 6 feet tall but... Oh and he is on now as well as Orlando Brown Jr, a possible right tackle in the third round.
  11. Select who? Go, if you are right, you get hired, well, not likely by them, but as a bee baby sitter.... Calvin Ridley, Christian Kirk? Do they go tight end? Gesiki, Andrews? Or do they keep going defense?
  12. Sadly they won't fire Harbs. Pees is gone retirement, forced retirement, who cares, good bye. Now get rid of Suggs, great player, clearly past his prime, never shows up in the 4th quarter unless he is unblocked. There isn't any cap room so might as well bite the bullet and go with the 2002 formula; youngest team in the NFL. Shoot, Billick got them far, let us see if Harbs can coach... Cut everyone over 30, excet Joe since there is no back up, viable, right now and it would be the kiss of death cap wise. Weddle, Jefferson, always out of position, neither can tackle unless it is a blind side tackle they can submarine. Good bye. Mosley, I think he is still under contract for cheap, so they have to keep him. But he too is usually out of position, can't get off blocks, can't cover, but hey, he will make the tackle 10 yards down field, make one play per game bwhind the los, early in the game.... Maclin should be gone, he can't stay healthy, he was never on the same page route wise... Wallace should be back, what a fighter. But they can't afford him. Get rid of Watson, what a huge mistake he was, can't run, can't break a tackle, can't block. I hate to get anothrr offensive coordinator in here, that is part of the problem, so many of them. But Marty has to go, something needs to gappen so that Harbs really gets the message. Take some power from him, if he doesn't like it, let him walk.
  13. Yes it was VA. The defense with 3 shut outs lost yet another 4th quarter lead. The one that leads the league in turnovers could only get 1. We knew those were all false numbers, Blake Bortles tore them apart for crying out loud. The offense was so predictable, most teams new what was coming, what running plays, what route combinations.... Yes, no first downs in the first half, 1 completed pass or something to that affect. Then they come out firing, why? Cinci is in a zone defense, so it is easy pickens. Their defensive front ate too much at half time, got to cozy by the fire amd couldn't stop the run, at first. But then the offense does something srupid that costs them points or calls a stupid obvious play on first & 2nd down leaving the drive stalled amd they settle for 3. We've seen this movie ten thousand times, it always ends up with no playoffs. I though 4 wins so I should be happy, right? They won 9 games, yippie! Some coach once said you are what your record says you are; pshh on that, this team, more often than not played like a 4 win team. Yesterday was proof.
  14. The playoffs were on the line, which team did you think was playing their hearts out to make the playoffs?
  15. 7 dropped passes today, one bounced off the hands ending up a pick 6, because of a wide out not likely to play on any other team. I would say, how many of the offensive players would make it on another team? Any of the linemen? The tight ends? Maybe Wallace, then who? Any of the backs? And you wonder why Joe's numbers are what they are?
  16. He chose the talent, they played terrible teams, today's game was a microcosm of the season, of the past 4 seasons.... It is al him
  17. 13th? Ok Spen, stop drinking and say good nite.... He is terrible, game management, player coaching, talent searching, he is bad, maybe 20th or worse bad. The Super Bowl was luck, these past few years prove it. He still makes the same mistakes every game.
  18. Still top 10 coach? Team comes out lazy then once again the defense collapses in the 4th quarter costing the team a playoff spot. That is all coaching. Pees better retire and Harbs better be fired..
  19. How fitting, throw it to the one man who cant break a tackle.... Get bounced from thr playoffs because the defense collapses AGAIN
  20. Great throw & catch
  21. Well, they need 7 here
  22. Wow, Wallace is back?
  23. The defense should be well rested at this point.
  24. So now Wallace is likely done... This should be fun, not
  25. I donf think he got 2 feet in
