  1. They also traded for a back up tackle... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000838547/article/notable-roster-moves-ravens-cut-zuttah-trade-for-olIna separate move, the Ravens acquired backup offensive lineman Tony Bergstrom from the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for a conditional seventh-round pick. Drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the third round of the 2012 draft, Bergstrom played in 15 games for the Houston Texans last season. Baltimore has suffered some setbacks on the offensive line this preseason. The Ravens lost starting left guard Alex Lewis (shoulder) and reserve Nico Siragusa (knee) for the season due to injuries. Plus, center John Urschel also retired this offseason. Clearly, Joe Flacco's wall is still under construction.
  2. With Rainey cut I wonder if that means Smoke makes the team. Same type player only younger & cheaper.
  3. Complaining I am not, just stating facts that these disasters have become rackets for certain orgs. It is always best to donate to local, vetted charities. They do more direct work. None of this counts the Federal money to come in, rumors have it as $6 Billion from the Feds. Look up the money donated for Hurricane Sandy, now go look at how many homes are still sitting in disarray. How many people are waiting for those donated dollars... Same for New Orleans.
  4. So another $113 mil donated/pledged on top of the almost $100 mil from sports & celebs, http://money.cnn.com/2017/08/30/news/companies/hurricane-harvey-corporate-donations/index.html How much will get to the people who need it rather than salaries, is anyone's guess... http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/08/30/547435136/red-cross-exec-doesn-t-know-what-portion-of-donations-will-go-directly-to-harvey?ft=nprml&f=1001
  5. Well, well over $100 mil has been raised so far, not counting all the on-line donations.... Now if the cash went directly to the families, people, everyone, would recover. However, lawyers and account managers get their 90% first. There is the true travesty.
  6. 3 years, $27 mil. Nice move by them, their secondary was terrible. Now, can he regain his form, overcome the injuries?
  7. Maybe he is their sleeper kickoff return man. That would help...
  8. Because he is not Colin Kaepernik....
  9. Too much money for little return...
  10. Great third down back, good hands, vision, quickness. Now, do they need him more than they need another player at a different position?
  11. The Feds are hoping you stop singing; studies have shown your voice is what is causing the bees to disappear. They explode on the sound of it... I agree, that song has to go.
  12. One year? They might as well have let him be a lame duck. Fire him and get Dirk Cutter in here.... What, a 9 win season is good enough? What happens when they only win 4? Are they giving him a Flacco injury out for one year? Maybe we should pray for the Biscutt.....
  13. At all sporting events.... Thoughts. http://www.wbaltv.com/article/umd-marching-band-will-no-longer-play-maryland-my-maryland/12106635
  14. This youg man has to make the team, he has it all, insticts, quickness, route recognition, hands. If he doesn't, he will not last long on the practice squad and the Ravens will regret it...he is a star in the making.
  15. The future hopefully always injured.... As much as I would love to have Landry, I think Smoke is going to be a great slot/3rd down back. Far better than what the team has currently for the slot, where Landry plays.
  16. With Edleman out I could see the Pats pulling the trigger but not the Ravens. They have bigger issues on offense.
  17. Oh and then there is this.... http://nfltraderumors.co/tag/jarvis-landry/ They deny the rumors of trade, and he is being investigated for battery...
  18. Why? They already have Perriman and Campanera......
  19. Record in the preseason means nothing.
  20. After last night's game, there is no hope for this offense. It might be thr worst in Ravens' history. Y'all wanted to see the kid from Liberty with the first unit, you got your wish.... I think we should expect 4 wins this year...
  21. The Jags coach pretty much said his qbs suck...
  22. Or maybe, they are finished.
  23. They had already stated he was not going to play until the first regular season game, so this is no real news. They do appear to make injuries worse or less, as if they can't decide to be Patriot like in not talking about injuries or being the town crier. Undisclosed injuries, reporting injuries as minor only to have players miss weeks, months. Either they are doinf this on purpose or the medical staff sucks and is putting them in a corner... Maybe some where in between...
  24. Yep, makes no sense to cut him.
