  1. I found them in NFL.com... Just Google NFL comic helmets or something. Ravens were lame, personally. Bengals and Browns were actually really cool - Browns as The Thing
  2. http://www.cnn.com/2015/11/25/health/nfl-concussion-protocol-failure-rams-case-keenum/index.html Everyone and their mother knew that he had a concussion, you could see it in how he got up and shook his head... In how he stayed down. "Protocol failed?" Bull. Protocol ignored. Gtfo.
  3. Saw this and it resonated. Yes, Russia Turkey looks bad. Have heard a lot of analysis saying Putin doesn't actually have the gall to back it up
  4. I personally think Bisciotti is less involved than some here believe. I think he likes to be seen, I think he likes to be in the loop, I think he steps in with the top tier when needed... But he's no where close to the Jerry Jones some seem to be implying by attributing picks and contacts to him...
  5. Murphy's Law season. Meanwhile, we get to see what life without him looks like as so many desire. Get better, Joe
  6. Who was giving him the benefit?
  7. There comes a point where the wheels fall off and everything goes with them... Even things like going for it in bad fourth downs speak to me about panic and desperation, bad decisions, more than anything else. It shouldn't be like that. A truly great staff can keep that in check to some extent. But it happens to many in these kinds of seasons.
  8. Time to get the lead with 4:07 left so we can blow it appropriately.
  9. I'm not a fan of fishing in November.
  10. Man that INT was horrible. And all Joe. That's like rookie QB "I am so excited to throw this pass I forget all fundamentals of how to do it" bad.
  11. Disagree with the challenge, but think it's interesting that the back foot didn't even have to be on the ground to be *behind the line*
  12. I agree. Except that pass interference against Givens want called right or tight...
  13. They showed last week, something weird about looking kicks at home. Almost perfect beyond fifty on the road, only made one or two at that distance at home.
  14. Yeah, thought that was announced mid week... But I thought he'd be active today as I assumed they only signed him to the roster because they had a role for him. Whatever. No Justin is going to hurt. Side note: if you don't win the whole challenge and have a result of the play changed... It should cost a timeout.
  15. On Twitter: Ravens made him inactive today before game.
  16. I thought West was active today?
  17. No faith in Buck and the newly acquired West?
  18. Do the refs reset the play clock on every punt? They have done it on all three today. The first I gave a slight break to, because there was some slow down about ball spot... But no reason on the last two, us and Rams? Not complaining except to say that just more evidence that it's all about "narrative" and not about rules actually mattering...
  19. Could. But many teams make it work to their advantage - move money here, shift money there... keep cap numbers reasonable, put some opt-outs, etc in there... Any signing is a gamble. So now you don't want him to restructure? (I guess I know the overall answer to that... but between restructure, keep and cut... I have a hard time seeing cut as the best option)
  20. The "chip" is that the threat of cutting him has little weight because we would save almost $0 this year by cutting him. End of next season? The savings would be substantial. But end of this season, the savings on our end are very very small. So, it would be easy for Joe to think, "there's no way they'll cut me because it serves them no purpose." I am not really advocating anything in this, except that cutting Joe isn't really an option this year. Personally, I think he should (and will) restructure. He'll do what they all do: take "more money" but spread over more years... and we'll wind up with the cap space we need. Trading him? It's an option too. But I think the reality is if we trade him, someone else will renegotiate and get that cash savings. Which may be well and fine... but man would I hate to see Joe lining up under a Kubiak offense every week again... against us.
  21. Well his biggest bargaining chip is still that the threat to cut him this year is a bit of a big because dead money would save us little overall. Though it would free money for longer contracts that are back loaded.
  22. "Ravens coach John Harbaugh said NFL knows Jaguars weren't set on final play from scrimmage. Play shouldn't have been allowed, he said. Harbaugh said he is not allowed to comment on whether league acknowledged mistake." Also just heard NFL confirmed this. I had this thought watching it. That it matters, just thought it was worth note
  23. So, you agree... It's logistically and logically impossible in the modern world to "let that happen" Good. Glad we got that out of the way.
  24. As if Russia entering a quagmire can really occur without our involvement at some point... As for oil prices, I disagree with that assessment significantly. And yet still your view is too narrow... We still couldn't produce enough oil to keep prices low. Even if we could locally, we couldn't help the world economy from collapsing. How do we support ourselves with a European economy falling apart? Think about now, the US as the only stable economy on the planet, but ten times worse in Europe, Asia, etc... It'll all just work out.
  25. I don't care about Exxon and its profit. I care about the cost of oil to our economy when more than 1/3 the world's supply is suddenly unavailable indefinitely. Remember what Katrina did to oil prices by shutting down refineries in the gulf for just a week or so? As for Turkey, etc... I again mean less about our responsibility to protect them or anything of the sort and more the logistical reality of inviting more than a billion people and 1/4 the world's soil into a massive conflict. And then assuming they'll just leave everyone else out? Or better yet, I'm sure Russia or Cubs wouldn't use the entire thing to they're advantage or at least find a way to induce our involvement...
