  1. Yeah. Zantac too - a whole seasons supply
  2. Just make sure you have your pack of smokes ready for all those "fun" 9th innings
  3. After tonight's victory at Toronto, I am convinced that Tommy Hunter is the 2014 version of Don Stanhouse.
  4. DC, you know he's 10th in team batting average at .234 ? Not exactly sure I would call his average up although agreed he doesn't have the needed protection with Machado.
  5. You can have Miami. Been there, done that. If it wasn't for the Keys trip, I would have much interest in that one. Tampa /St Pete is a pretty neat gig. Speaking of which, New Smyrna and Cocoa Beach are neat little beach towns - had a good time there.
  6. Is it me or has this guys bat disappeared ? Talk about missing Machado in the lineup. Its way early but the dude is in an early season funk eh ? Does he even have a HR ?
  7. Crav, I see where we play Tampa this year. Was just down that way (& Cocoa Beach/New Smyrna Beach (your stomping grounds) and I wonder when we play Tampa. That could be a fun road trip !
  8. Yep and we should've taken three out of four!
  9. Tommy "home run" Hunter almost gave it up. But in the end we won the game and earn the split of the series. I'll take it.
  10. After last nights tough loss and meltdown, it's going to be extremely challenging to win today, especially in an AM tilt. Do we play with a hangover or with a purpose ? It will be a good early season test of character for Bucks boys .
  11. O's did everything and handed game to Sox tonight after owning the game through 5 innings. Machado can't get back soon enough after Bad News Bears like fielding tonight .
  12. Agreed on Hunter being the least of our problems Our offense is making every pitcher look like Cy Young. Geez !
  13. It's early, he's only given up a run, but he's been very Don Stanhouse like thus far. If you don't mind smoking a six pack in the late innings, Hunter may well be your man.
  14. It's way early in season but Hunter ain't cutting it as a the closer. He cost us a win in the 9th and these games take their toll on a team struggling to score runs on mediocre pitchers who we make look like Palmer, McNally and Cuellar.
  15. Yeah, well Tommy Hunter is quickly becoming the Jim Johnson of last year. Dang , how do you give up a 9th inning, 2 out, 2 strike tater to Colby Rasmus. Geeez !!!!
  16. Damn right ! I have been saying this kid since last fall when he gouged and ran all over the Terps. He's a wrecking machine, hammer and the kind of runner we've been missing since JLew. I sure hope he's there for the Ravens .
  17. If we were talking cars, I'd say we just settled for a Hyundia or Kia while hoping for a Toyota or Honda .
  18. You bet, especially if he gets a bit part in the next sequel to Longest Yard .
  19. If I'm Ozzie, I'm already on the horn with Legerette Blount's agent and working out a 1-2 ye deal. Now. Then I'm drafting a RB in round 2 or 3, preferably Andre Williams from BC.
  20. Yes. I am surprised they waited this long. They've needed a legit backup for 3-4 years and have been damn lucky Joe has held up for so long. They've got to address this huge deficiency this Spring.
  21. I'd welcome back smashmouth running attack. Haven't had a hammer since Jamal Lewis. Really like the kid from BC - Andre Williams - I believe is his name.
  22. Is this a Steelers message board ?
  23. Maybe Leeann Touey can "coach him up" better now that he's going to Tenn.
