After tonight's victory at Toronto, I am convinced that Tommy Hunter is the 2014 version of Don Stanhouse.

DC, you know he's 10th in team batting average at .234 ? Not exactly sure I would call his average up although agreed he doesn't have the needed protection with Machado.

It's early, he's only given up a run, but he's been very Don Stanhouse like thus far. If you don't mind smoking a six pack in the late innings, Hunter may well be your man.

It's way early in season but Hunter ain't cutting it as a the closer. He cost us a win in the 9th and these games take their toll on a team struggling to score runs on mediocre pitchers who we make look like Palmer, McNally and Cuellar.
