Crav & Spen, good win and clutch pitching - high fives all around there, Hitting is another matter. The hitters are in a funk, no clutch or situational hitting. We are walking fine line on this 1 run games and flirting with disaster (enter Hunter). Without a bonafide closer at the moment, this team has to manufacture runs - through begging, borrowing or stealing. The next game we are clinging to a late inning 1 run lead and get 2-3 runners on w/< 2 out, Buck has got to play small ball. I don't care if Davis, Jones, etc. are up, you HAVE to score a damn run and get a 2-3 run lead, esp w/ our delicate closer situation. Whatever happened to a suicide squeeze; drag bunt, hitting the ball to the right to move the dang runner along ? Until Weiters returns (if he does) and the lineup gets it in gear, Buck needs to manufacture runs and hope it holds up. This team and our division is playing mediocre ball right now. But some team is going to get hot - now, June, July - and take a big lead. We need to slowly put together Ws, series wins, and see where this goes. Hopefully, Buck keeps the ship afloat and going in the right direction.

Crav, that's classic! We were vacationing in Florida last month I ran into an Os fan 20 in new Smyrna Beach. He told me that homerun Hunter was going to take the team down this year. I walked away laughing but then started to scratch my head a couple minutes later. Now I completely understand.

He's back. Bucks gotta make a move with Home Run Hunter as our closer . He is single handedly blowing our season. Don't know who but Hunter has to be shot mentally and psychologically. Btw- can anyone explain why ODay couldn't pitch the 9th knowing exactly this is what Hunter was going to do. If this organization has any chance of winning this year, they need to find another closer and now. There's time to right the ship while it's only May. Get er done !

The man has helped us win 2 SBs and he has been among the best for years. But we needed a monster draft and it didn't happen, regardless of what some ignorant pundits are saying. Like our favorite athletes - Ray, Reed - even our GMs lose their mojo.

I'm with Crav; by not addressing the true needs and still with many holes on the OL and secondary; we took steps back in this draft. It's really disappointing that we passed on the RBs and QBs that were available earlier in the draft. Instead, we picked up 2 no names who probably won't even sniff the field. We could have easily picked the RB from Towson or BC, and we damn sure could have used one. I guess another year of Tyrod as backup to Joe. And Ray and Pierce as our featured backs. No, not what I expected and no where near what was hyped up over the past few months.

Can we get a do - over on this draft ? Not at all pleased with our picks. I agree with Crav's earlier remark that Ozzie may have lost his touch. Most every pick - aside from maybe Mosley - is a head scratcher.

Ozzie and Co batting .000 in this draft so far. Don't want to hear about BPA . We've passed on some serious talent.

Conventional thinking would certainly dictate so; unfortunately; the team didn't capitalize on the opportunity.

Who gives a rats arse about the 49ers draft strategy. Isn't this the Ravens board and btw why aren't we talking about pulling this off ? We already gave em Bolden and practically handed them the Super Bowl w little in return. I might be over reacting a tad but out last couple of drafts have stunk. This team needs to hit a grand slam in the draft. Last I checked we were 8-8 and missed the playoffs.

I am not anything until after the draft. Not that the draft will make or break 2014 but it will give us an indication of this season and those that follow Plus, I want to see who get at OL, S and WR. This a huge draft for rhe franchise which has un characteristically whiffed the past couple years. It's time to right that ship.
