HILARIOUS mashup of that and the Bale audio.
-
Absolutely not. Are kids more irresponsible than ever? Yes. But that's a product of universally lazy parenting and ignorance, not music and video games.
-
The finish was absolutely fantastic. Harvick definitely has that move down. Junior getting shuffled and wrecked killed me.
-
I'm not arguing against the music or video games being dirtier, because you're right, but what does it have to do with this?
-
Agreed. There's no shock factor at all. I don't think you could name a single person I'd be shocked about. Especially A-Rod...
-
Well that ended badly. Lack of testing has guys swirling all over the track. It made the race rough to watch. Still fun though.

With how well the Ravens did, it feels like NASCAR's been away forever. But, tonight, we get to start it up again, by seeing one of the coolest races the season provides. Practices showed that a lot of the new rides will be fast. Speed, Allmendinger, etc. all showed that they aren't necessarily just field fillers. I think this race will be competitive as hell. You guys EXCITED?!

Another star going down in flames
ForceEight replied to papasmurfbell's topic in Baltimore Orioles / MLB
Not even remotely surprised. Who would be, anymore? -
Every single person at all related to baseball says Looper will be an Orioles, so I'm not considering any different. He'd certainly help. I have absolutely no expectations. I want to see nothing but a little bit of good baseball. Especially when I go to games. With all the retarded money being thrown around, I don't see anything happening.

I sincerely doubt Lewis staying or leaving will have any effect on the decision.

Cowher wets himself every time he speaks.

I would absolutely love it.

...why? I mean, I know he's a good coach and recruiter and everything, but why? How can you be that confident that there's no one you'd prefer when Ralph retires--whenever that is--than an assistant you have now? I've never understood naming successors. I just don't like it. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3888717

Jesus dude, you sound like me today. There's no evidence that he wasn't aware, and I'm sure that he was. The video focuses on no more than the fact that no one in support is aware of what's going on or what they should know.
-
That doesn't make it good history.
-
I just got incredibly pissed off after listening to that.

"Is this real life?" I usually don't even need to be drugged to say that all the time... Saw the video the other day. Very funny.

About seeing your logic, generally, I think you're right. I just meant that in that specific argument, he knows what you're talking about, but really doesn't give a damn because it doesn't help him and his argument. I completely agree with the idea of that sort of thing being taught earlier. I was fortunate enough to have a lot of really good teachers, so many of them intentionally embedded these ideas within whatever we were doing, or otherwise outright taught it. However, I didn't have most teachers, and I recognize this systematic flaw of teaching. And screw Michael Phelps.

It is a class. It was one of the ones I skipped once I knew I was leaving school last year. He sees your logic, and understands it quite clearly. It's more a matter of inability to argue (or, more specifically, to win an argument), and using falsehoods, irrelevancies, or easily-confusable terms to counter. For example, you say that the sky is blue, and I say it's red. I know it's blue, and can't win the argument, but, say, I counter with the idea that as a child, you once called the sky purple, so your argument is irrelevant and incorrect based on prior position. More related to the subject, you say that Holmes' catch in the SB was a touchdown, while I say it wasn't. I'm obviously wrong, so I point out that you said his catch against us in the second game wasn't a touchdown, so the idea of an inconsistency invalidates your argument. All of what I just said is completely ridiculous, yes, but it's how overmatched people argue. Especially in things like sports and politics.

He's now thinking about elbow surgery. So, uh, nevermind.

No issues here. All my picks are in, for now. What are you seeing, Crav?
-
That's what I was headed to. There's absolutely nothing wrong with them trying to clean it up, if that's what they wanna do. I don't really blame them at all. By the same token, I don't blame those who want it to continue, either.
-
If they're aiming to clean up the race and bring it to the standard of the other two TC races, I don't blame them at all. The Preakness is a complete mess and is nothing to be proud of. However, I hope they realize they're throwing away more money than they'll recoup selling drinks.

I am so sick and tired of this argument. It doesn't matter where the ball is until the receiver has possession. Are you trying to say that the moment a receiver touches a thrown pass, it's considered possession? If that were the case, every tipped pass that fell to the ground would be considered a fumble. He did not have possession of the ball, meaning that he did not have the ball completely caught, until after the ball was out of the endzone. I sincerely wish people would stop overlooking that. I really do. Make sense?
