  1. What do Altar Boys and the Pittsburgh Stealers have in common? They are both getting screwed by Cardinals today
  2. Max, where did you get that quote from?? You know me, I ran with it
  3. Me too, Im tired of dealing wih their BS.. Icing on the cake, Rod Woodson goes into the HOF as a Raven
  4. "It's pretty crazy," Mr. Flacco, a one time Pitt Panther, said of his first Super Bowl trip. "I don't know where to go, I'm just getting dragged around." His pick for tonight? "I hope Arizona wins. We'll see." more
  5. Winning cures everything. Good win last night Gary!!
  6. Alphonso Smith and Hakeem Nicks would both be excellent picks at this stage of the projections, in my opinion. As of now they are mine too..But it can all change with the upcoming combine..My Fav time of the year.
  7. It's not exactly the uniform he had hoped to be wearing this week, but Joe Flacco walked through the three-ring Super Bowl circus wearing his good suit yesterday. I say good suit, but in fact, it's his only suit. A year from now, he wants to return, he said, but as an actual participant. Here's why Ravens fans should start counting down the days until the 2009 season begins: Flacco, a guy who generally deals only with what's directly in front of him, has wasted no time shifting his focus to the future. How long did it take? Oh, about a day. The Ravens lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC title game on a Sunday night. The next morning, Flacco showed up in Owings Mills. While other players were packing up their lockers and saying their goodbyes, Flacco surprised coaches by requesting the film from the Steelers game. He started watching it right away, too. He wouldn't take the field again for months, but Flacco couldn't wait to start studying. "I just wanted to go back, look at it like I always do, see what I could've done better," Flacco said yesterday. "There were things that could've been done differently. But the bottom line, it didn't happen that way and we've got to move on." More

  9. LOL, Its not going to happen..Rabbit Ears Rule!!!
  10. I promise I won't pull a 'crav'. Often imitated, never duplicated
  11. Do I think PSLs are highway robbery? Yes they are!! How come Indy just built a brand spanking new state of the art facility with no PSL? How about NY, not only do the Jets fans have to pay PSL's but so do the Giants Fans..Its one building!!!! and they are quite expensive.. In defense of the folks in Carolina, playoff tickets are released at a bad time of the year, forcing folks to decide whether Johnny needs a new bike for Christmas vs Watching Jake Deholme throw 6 picks vs Arizona.
  12. Why not, look at the profit you'll make if you want to sell.
  13. They call it as they see it..the bad thing about this, is Im convinced as well, so anything less than a SB victory next season is a failure.
  14. Sweet, thats the last thing we need is to unstability at the QB coaching position.. The NFL is officially on notice!!!
  15. vegas has installed the Patriots the favorites, (thats assinine) http://www.freep.com/article/20090122/SPOR...atriots+favored
  16. TAMPA, Fla. - Shannon Sharpe'sadvice to linebacker Ray Lewis is: Stay with the Ravens. Sharpe, who won a Super Bowl with the Ravens in the 2000 season, remains close friends with Lewis and talks to him frequently. One topic that has been discussed is Lewis' decision when he becomes a free agent at the end of February. Said Sharpe, who is at the Super Bowl for Sirius NFL radio: "I told Ray: 'Consider returning. You're like [John] Elway in Denver and [Dan] Marino in Miami. They should erect a statue of you next to Johnny Unitas. That's the kind of impact you've had in Baltimore. That should mean something to you.'" more
  17. What would the final score be of a game of "your friends" versus "any NBA team"? 350-1? Worse? I would love to watch this game, btw. Wellllllll I dont know about that, different sport but back in the early 80's there was a flag football team in Towson (The Crease) that was loaded with former NFLers, I played for a bar in downtown, yes they beat us pretty good, but I did pick off a pass thrown from Marty Domres the old Colts QB, they had Domres, Howard Stevens (Colts KR) Greg Schaumm (OL for the Cowboys). I also got my first snot knocker, they did a student body left and Stevens was carrying the ball, Schamm just obliviated me, my head hit the groung so hard that when I shook the cobwebs I thought I was bleeding from face, I must have popped a snot gland..Hence the term snotknocker..
  18. LOL,,Its been some years since Ive been called that.
  19. Terps Basketball needs a coaching change..
  20. Don't listen to Crav. Any real fan will tell you that Matt Ryan is outplaying Joe Flacco. That's not to say that Ryan will always be the better QB, but the Falcons have relied on Ryan far more than the Ravens have on Flacco. The teams were in similar, but then again very different, situations entering the season. What Ryan has done is flat out impressive. Crav still thinks Carson Palmer is a bust. It's the homer in him Who went further in the Playoffs??? Flacco > Ryan
  21. Stop you guys, jimminychristmas. No way Stealers can lose, If that would have been the Ravens vs Cards we/I would be declaring a *** I'm stupid for thinking this game is easy ***. Stealers in a *** I'm stupid for thinking this game is easy *** 35-6
  22. PANTHERS REVOKE PSLS OF THOSE WHO DIDN’T BUY PLAYOFF TICKETS Posted by Josh Alper on January 27, 2009, 10:09 a.m. Many Carolina Panthers season ticket holders received letters in the mail from the team recently. It wasn’t a thank you note and a promise to have great success in 2009, but a note informing them that their personal seat licenses were being revoked because of a failure to purchase playoff tickets. The owners of the PSLs have been given the opportunity to pay a reinstatement fee, $228 in one case according to the Charlotte Observer. If they don’t pay by Friday, though, they can wave goodbye to their tickets and to the money they spent to buy the PSLs in the first place. The Panthers are acting within their rights because the agreement with PSL buyers requires them to purchase playoff tickets. Those who didn’t pony up knew there were consequences. That said, it’s a requirement which seems to fall outside the bounds of the PSL arrangement. Teams justify asking people to buy PSLs by marketing them as assets which can make you money over the long run. The only thing they can actually sell as part of the come-on is the right to buy preseason and regular season games because those are the only things they’re actually able to guarantee. Playoff tickets are a bonus, one that most PSL owners will only be too happy to buy, but a bonus shouldn’t be a requirement. PSL owners should have a right of first refusal on playoff tickets with the team getting the right to sell them to the general public if the owner passes.
