I was flipping through the channels Thursday night and caught that partway through and watched the rest of it, for the 5th or 6th time. Funny underrated movie.
  2. I still do not think he is or has been on their active roster. I found other sites that list him as being #13 too.
  3. That would scare the hell out of me!
  4. Really? I dont think I have ever heard you say anything but bad things about him. Before everyone gets bent out of shape, has he ever been on the Colts actual roster or just their practice squad? I'm sure if he actually made the team he would wear a different number. I am so glad the Colts left. Even without football for 13 years before the Ravens moved here I think Baltimore has been better off. Either way let it go, bask in the healing purple light of the Ravens. Purple is nice, purple is good. Be at peace.....
  5. I don't think Harbaugh is or should be happy with Joe and the offenses performance Sunday night and he shouldn't be. However because it comes right after the Rams game where they played great I understand the patience and acceptance. If the Titans game was last week instead of two ago there may be a different attitude. They won the game Sunday so their troubles are a lot less severe than they could be. Even with my doubts about Joe I certainly think that the offense will gel more as the year progresses.
  6. Thats true, Romo has a way of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
  7. Damn thats funny.
  8. Did someone on the Eagles refer to themselves as the 'dream team'? I keep seeing that referenced but wonder where it came from.
  9. The line has been inconsistent at best. I will not fault Joe for not finding targets when he is running for his life but there have been many times this season where he has had time and could not find anyone even though people are clearly open on the replays.
  10. Oh I certainly wont argue that Joe puts up some good numbers against bad teams. And he did play well against the Steelers. Still two out of four were not good, especially for a 'top 5' QB.
  11. I'd like to see Joe miraculously develop the ability to look around the field and find open targets when his primary is covered. In a way I am feeling like the 2000 season, in that having a once in a generation dominating defense is the only way I see us going that far.
  12. Its a win so I wont harp on it too much, but he and the offense he leads were terrible last night. And he has been bad 2 out of 4 games this season.
  13. Its certainly a good win against a quality opponent so we take it, enjoy the week off and prepare for the bulk of the season.
  14. Very nice, a good clean looking board.
  15. Running up the score is bush league and will come back to bite you in the ass but there is no way I feel the Ravens ran up the score in either game this season. Sunday they had 27 points at half time and they scored one TD in the 2nd half, a defensive one. After a game where they couldnt move the ball well at all are they Ravens supposed to sit starters at halftime? I would have removed Joe a bit earlier, but if the thought was to leave them in there and work on some things then I have a hard time disagreeing with that.
  16. He was tremendous today, really a fantastic game.
  17. Joe is acting like a whiny brat, and it could be argued he has been since last season.
  18. The only reason I know is because they are the same things he has said numerous times before. He does not like Harbs so he question whether he should have been brought back at or and/or why give him an extension before he is done. My thought which I stated numerous times is that in todays game if you want to bring someone back its usually done before their contract is up, and my opinion is that a coach who inherits a 5-11 team and accomplishes what Harbs has deserves to come back. He thinks we should get rid of Ray and the money Would be spent better elsewhere. My thought is if Ray's play dips to where he isnt a good player then he should should be let go, not before. And I do not see that in his play now. We certainly shouldnt get rid of him because his play may suffer next year or the year after. He doesnt like Ozzie so he picks something that he thinks is a bad move and uses it as an argument Ozzie is no good, as if any GM always makes the right move all the time. If I translated it wrong, please correct me.
  19. I am not sure yet whether we laid an egg or if the performance yesterday was a better indicator of where we are as a team than the opening weekend was. To say we had a hangover or over-looked in some ways lets us off the hook. The Ravens were really bad yesterday, if the Titans didn't make their fair share of mistakes then the game wouldn't have been as close as it was. And when naming mistakes do not forget that terrible delay of game penalty. That hurt.
  20. I'm finding the about the same number, about an hour of ads per game. Seems more. I guess it may also seem more today because of the way the game was going. Still, commercials after a score then coming back for the kickoff then commercials after the kickoff and commercials after every timeout even if they are used consecutively really slow things down to me.
  21. The commercials kill me in the games. I'd like to know how much of a three hour game I am watching actual football and how much I am watching ads. I wonder who Tasker wanted to win today?
  22. I cannot think of anyone on the team who jumps out as having played well today.
  23. Congrats everyone! Thanks Dee!
  24. Sorry man, I was lazy and/or polite.
