Saw that Max and it humbled me a bit. Rob Long was going on that Harbaugh planned this type of new Ravens play since the writing was on the wall last year and he knew we'd need an up tempo offense to compensate for our declining D.

We'll be drafting Heavy D (rip) next draft, no doubt. No fault on Lamar. I like what I see...leaps and bounds over Joe.

They had to take a leap of faith with the D this year and I think they honestly thought CJ was coming back. Suggs and Weddle didn't have the physical assets anymore, but their brains/leadership are missing. I didn't mind that they were gone, but all three? Yeah...no one was left. My hope is that Humphrey steps up. He seems even keeled and smart. I was kind of hoping B Williams would be a leader, but he's a goof. A physically gifted goof, but knows his role and plays it well. I saw something on twitter that someone correlated a dancing tweet with Williams injury and now we see that Thomas called Williams out? Hrmmmmm

Fair and thanks for the link in the other thread. What a mess. I kind of assumed Thomas, when signed, would lead with the mic, but I guess he's not that guy?

The D is the problem. The ability to communicate and work as a unit is gone. That went with Weddle/Suggs/Mosley. Earl Thomas is a fucking goon..hate that signing now.

It just occurred to me and I am by no means condoning any of this abuse. Maybe the higher profile athletes and coaches get more scrutiny than OL coaches and linemen?
