  1. No. At the time I wrote that I wasn't aware of the issue. So, if they really wanted a LT, Stanley was the better choice. The thing that surprises me was they didn't take Buckner. Is there any possibility we can trade Monroe for picks this year or next?
  2. Gee, I was stunned. If they wanted a LT I'm surprised they didn't take Tunsil. But Stanley must have impressed them in ways Tunsil didn't. Not sexy but a needed guy for Joe.
  3. The information on the draft this year is especially suspect. I have read numerous reports that the ND tackle excels at pass protection and needs to improve his run blocking.
  4. If it came down to either Ramsey or Tunsil, I'd want to see Ramsey because he's a playmaker and we all know how bad we need those. Certainly wouldn't bother me if they took Tunsil. An anchor for the left side of the line like Yanda anchors the right.
  5. I know it's not exciting but Tunsil, if he's as good as they he is, could shore up LT for years and protect Joe.
  6. Tunsil falls to us as do Buckner or Bosa. If that's the scenario, I hope they pick Tunsil. Then they can go after Headcase Spence in the early 2nd or move up to late 1st.
  7. No! Not another Perriman year, please!
  8. I think Ozzie will stand pat at 6 unless he gets an extra 2nd round pick, a third this year and a third next next year. I think I'd take that to move down to the 10-15 range. Definitely wouldn't go lower than trading with somebody who's 10-15. My preference is to hold at 6. Too many potential star players available.
  9. I've had no doubts about Joe being ready for the season. They should do well in the draft but who knows at this point? I'm beginning to dislike Trestman when I compare him to what Kubiak did here. Not ready to make a prediction yet, but I still think the Ravens will have a tough time winning this year. I would love to be wrong.
  10. By the way, did you see the video of Perriman running? Looked smooth and healthy. He has really long legs.
  11. I like the approach. It sounds logical. Hope it works.
  12. I'll take Buckner if he's there at 6 but I'd really be happier with one of the others.
  13. Pretty stupid. They probably felt they needed a 'big name' qb on the roster in LaLa Land.
  14. There's good OTs that will be available in the second round. Hopefully Monroe stays healthy long enough for them to learn the position.
  15. I'm beginning to think it might be a good idea to trade back and get more picks. This may be the scenario if there's either Goff or Wentz available when we pick.
  16. Can't disagree there. If Monroe can stay healthy they can skip drafting a high caliber LT this year. I'm sure Oz, da Costa, etc., have talked with the doctors about Monroe.
  17. One way or the other what Oz and Eric do in the first four rounds will determine just where this team is going to be for the long haul. It's One of the most important drafts in Ravens' history.
  18. Hmmm, interesting: just read that he won't do the 40-yard before the draft.
  19. Didn't know he could be an edge rusher and edge setter. Thought he was another DT only. If he's that versatile that makes him a more interesting option.
  20. Just a fun question for everybody: Who would you LIKE to see the Ravens draft in the first round... I'm kinda leaning toward Myles Jack if he's available. Not excited about Buckner. If I had the number one pick I'd go with Ramsey.
  21. From drafting where we are drafting this year anything is possible. We'll be in the dark all the way to April 28.
  22. That would make my day.
  23. Saw this article that details all the Ravens' draft picks. We have three picks in the first 70 players taken. We also have four fourth round picks. If the Oz is still doing his magic, that's a lot of ammunition. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/2016-NFL-Draft-Order-Finalized/cd973335-97b7-439a-9404-072907534dcf Also read today that we now have no players on our team from the 2012 draft with KO and Upshaw moving on.
