I wonder if Oz would trade up to #1 if in return we give the Titans our first pick this year and next year's #3. I doubt the Titans would take that deal. I did read where Tennessee is desperate to trade down though. Or better yet, we exchange 1st round picks this year, give them Monroe and a 5th pick next year. Who knows, maybe the Titans are stupid.

It's beginning to look like the Ravens are in the 'win now' mode. Cap space will be a problem after a year or two as these restructured contracts fallout hits us. I'm waiting to see what the results are this year after freeing up all this cap space and kicking the can down the road. Just who are they signing?

They don't have the money for Okung. Beachum may be attainable. Here's a write-up on him from NFL.com: "Kelvin Beachum, offensive tackle It's not often a legitimate starting left tackle hits the open market at 26 years old. If it weren't for his ACL tear six games into the 2015 season, he'd be much higher on the offseason radar and might not even be hitting free agency. When he started all 16 games in 2014, Beachum was a top-10 left tackle in the NFL. Injury and the lack of consistency prior to 2014 could keep Beachum's price tag down. It's a good pickup at a low price.

Kelvin Beachem is another possibility. But the Ravens might be forced to look at round 2 or 3 for an OT to backup Monroe while the kid develops.

I'd really love to see some creative cap solution and us signing Okung. There are other LT options in free agency too.

Just have this feeling we're going to draft a playmaker in that spot. If worst comes to worst we've still got Monroe there. Of course he'll probably have a chip on his shoulder about the effort to move KO to his position. But, hell, that's life. Read somewhere that Castillo likes to work with mid-draft tackles. Probably so he can teach them easier.

I dunno. Just read that KO graded positive from PFF for all the games he played at guard and negative for the four games he played as tackle. So maybe Stanley is the guy we draft. If it was up to me, I'd sign one of the young FA LT's like Okung. Beachem is available too and use the 6th pick on a playmaker.

You shouldn't get cut for what he did even though it was very wrong. He'll probably get a four game suspension. Maybe the Ravens get proactive and suspend him themselves. Can a team suspend a guy? Now, IF he was DUI then cut him.

Russell Okung is a free agent LT. Read some good things about him. Anybody here know him?

They'll have more than sufficient money to get more talent. I don't personally see them in the playoffs this year and maybe even next, but when they do get there they just might win another SB.

I was hoping for $8 million this year too but hell I'll take 6 and the 13 over two years.

If KO leaves and I sure hope he doesn't, I still don't think will draft Stanley. Jack and Hargreaves should fill both BPA and need nicely. Maybe we can move Wagner to LT if he can play there and draft another OT in a later round.

Let's just hope Maxx can stay healthy and have a breakout year.

Well, I'm pretty sure Ozzie said he saw him at the Castle just last week. He said Perriman had 'a big smile' on his face. He seems like a nice kid and I feel sorry for him getting depressed by the whole thing. But I'm still very unsure about whether he'll take the field this year.

That would be a very satisfying first 2 rounds me.

I just hope it comes to fruition. We need a mauler like KO. And it would be some welcome good news for us. Things haven't been bouncing our way since last training camp.

I find it hard to fathom that this guy still hasn't advanced enough to play (Newsome yesterday said he hasn't be medically cleared to play at this point). Will this thing ever heal? Did he need surgery and turned it down for some reason? Something just doesn't smell right about this.
