  1. Yeah Max, but we could have still gotten him much later.

    He was actually joking around.
  3. As good as he is, I'd rather take a play-maker like Perriman. No regrets at all.
  4. It looks like it's being run by a middle-school class. Never seen one this bad and I get the feeling they don't even care.
  5. I disagree. This is a pick I really don't like. It was not only a reach but a long one. He was listed as a 7th round or UDFA so why take him in the fourth?
  6. He's sounds like a solid TE who should wind up in our TE rotation. Appears to be a really good receiver but meh blocker. I think some time with Juan will help him. (never thought I'd be saying that about Castillo a year ago this time).
  7. I really liked this pick. From what I've read, will eventually be a starter for us and has the smarts to know he'll have to work at it.
  8. I'm loving this draft so far. Wonder who we draft next. Maybe another guy will slip to us.
  9. Just a really super pick! And great weapons for Joe and Trestman.

Great move by Ozzie to trade up and take the best TE in the draft! This is looking like this draft has the potential to be one of Ozz's two best drafts.
  11. I think it's a gamble but one worth taking. This guy could be awesome.
  12. Highlight videos by definition just show you the good things but I was still impressed by this: http://www.underdogdynasty.com/2015/3/22/8168517/2015-nfl-draft-player-profile-ucf-wr-breshad-perriman
  13. Couldn't agree with you more, Max. The players and coaches told these kids what they really need to succeed.
  14. Perriman is impressive. He'll need to focus better but I think he starts Day One. What speed!
  15. Yeah Berry was quite a guy. The best pass catcher I've ever seen and a great route runner. I remember he used to take a football wherever he went when he was younger. That way, he said, he got the feel of the ball. Of course, Johnny U was one of my all time faves, as was Bert Jones. Good times!
  16. Well, I know I'm excited for it. The one thing I can count on is that Oz and Eric will have some, or even many, surprises!
  17. Melvin Gordon or Gurley. Whichever is available at 26.
  18. He won't slide down as far as the 26th spot.
  19. Can't say it better than these guys did: http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-ravens-players-react-to-baltimore-riots-say-violence-is-not-the-answer-20150428-story.html
  20. Gilmore has more potential that hasn't been tapped yet.
  21. I feel a little better about TE after watching these clips: http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-draft/Top-5-Tight-Ends-That-Fit-The-Ravens/8b6e6601-00d7-4f7a-a36c-dd1777bef81d
  22. Brigance is a very special guy. I followed him with the Stallions too. He was a good linebacker to boot. Max, we have guys with experience but, let's face it, WR is a big question mark with unproven receivers and a lack of deep speed. TE is a mess though I think Gilmore will surprise everybody. But there's no second TE that was a feature last year. We lack depth at all the receiver positions. We need a superior draft. Oz and DaCosta have the ability. Now they have to execute.
  23. TE situation is weak to say the least. But I do think we're going to rough up the Broncos in a revenge game. The draft is crucial. I'm confident they'll find a RB. They'll draft a tight end and a speedster wide receiver. Not sure if we're drafting high enough in the second round to pick Maxx. Don't be surprised if Gresham or Miller wind up here later in the off season too.
