  1. Absolutely agree about Torrey and Forsett. Maybe Jacoby can shake off his dropsies and sub for Smith.
  2. Is the buzz still suggesting Jim Harb is leaving SF or did they kiss and make up?
  3. Nope...didn't know that happened back then. Weird because they seem to be doing a credible job this year.
  4. Dennison is a definite possibility but he'd could wind up as Kubiak's OC as he's been very loyal to him. Maybe Kubiak has had his fill of head coaching and will stay.
  5. Rated 105th out of 113 cornerbacks by Pro Football Focus...[gulp!]
  6. Are we gonna be able to get him to stay here? Assistant Coach title a la Rex? More money? Both? http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Eisenberg-Exploring-How-To-Keep-Gary-Kubiak-In-Baltimore-/7841492d-b800-46c4-b720-5529858242d2
  7. Some great blocking shown in this loop from the Miami game. Forsett knocks the snot out of a 245 lb linebacker who's blitzing. On the sneak, we know Yanda, Osemele and Zuttah are tough but Monroe showed me something in that clip as he bulldozes his opponent into the ground. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/What-You-Missed-In-Dolphins-Game/7b3ede52-c637-46e2-8505-e7518feb9069
  8. Yep, we think it's a roller coaster here...glad I'm not living in Cincy.
  9. Well it's worked for the most part so far...no matter what we need the first few picks will definitely by BPA as always. Drives me crazy sometimes.
  10. It sure does set your hair on fire. If I had any, that is.
  11. Joe and Kubes deserve one...Kubes because he adjusted the offense to what the Dolphins were showing us. And of course: Dooooooom!
  12. Just think, we could have had Tannehill instead of Joe for a LOT cheaper!
  13. Playing the Texans at their home stadium has me the most worried. Cleveland can kill us too if we're careless. These days it seems any NFL team can beat any other so watch out for the Jaguars too though I know that's our easiest game of the season.
  14. Writers: Check out John Eisenberg who does columns once a week on the ravens website. He used to work for The Sun and he's got a steady approach to the team with no axes to grind. I don't listen much to radio sports shows so someone else will have to step up for that one.
  15. Welcome to the site. I hope you'll still be here at the end of season and going forward. I used to hate the Redskins back in the 60's because they screwed the Colts over when Baltimore got a team. But even I have forgotten about that now. I started to change my opinion when Lombardi went to coach there. Snyder's a mess to be sure. Getting back to the Ravens, it seems like every game they've played this year has been a big game. Hard to say what's going to happen after the regular season's over.
  16. Gorer is out for the year. Levine has a concussion and is in the protocol.
  17. But, Joe, keep the 'Vinny' moments to a minimum, please!
  18. Joe's pretty tough mentally. A lot of quarterbacks might have been gun shy after his interception but he doesn't play that way. A dumb judgement for sure; but he overcame it. At the time it happened I was yelling WTF!
  19. Ricky Wagner had a real good day...I was watching him.
  20. I second the motion.
  21. Yup. They said there's been some criticism in Miami of the Dolphins for never going deep.
  22. I simply cannot predict the Ravens games this year. I never know when the Jeckel or Hyde is going to show up. Real happy they won. Joe was great from the 1st TD onward. I did notice his "Vinny" moment of bad judgement though. So, I ask, WTF now??????
  23. Dolphins 27 to 23.
  24. Of course, I could change my mind after I see the defense this Sunday.
