  1. I suspect they'll go with 53 which will mean more cuts later. I have a feeling Butler is going to wind up on the IR since he's got potential and is currently hurt.
  2. Geez...they cut Simon. Guess we were overloaded with LB's.
  3. I like Wenning but I think they wanted to keep an extra receiver or CB more than a third QB. Hoping he makes the practice squad.
  4. They gotta keep Wenning and Campanero somehow.
  5. Oh we'll here about every game from the play-by-play guys and the color commentator. Should be a delightful season.
  6. I wonder what the reaction would be if the Ravens extended his suspension for 4 more games. Don't know if the NFLPA has to be on board with that.
  7. Could be new contracts for Torrey and Justin.
  8. "The NFL spokesman also declined to address whether Rice’s suspension could be increased from two games to six under the new policy." So I guess this is a possibility?
  9. Very, very little during a season when games count.
  10. Even I wouldn't be hurt by a 'kick' like that. They'll just give him a fine for unsportsmanlike conduct or whatever, is my guess.
  11. Campanaro has more value as a potentially excellent slot receiver than Deonte has shown as a pass catcher.,like Max said, too many drops in practice.
  12. Wagner is a step up from Oher. A big step. I watch him all the time now.
  13. He sure impressed the hell out of me. Terrific player. Wish we had gotten him earlier in his career but he still looks like he's got 2-3 years left in the tank.
  14. Our defense was stout and I was impressed. I also wasn't that unhappy with the offense. Juice was really something (yeah he does need more blocking training but has improved), Flacco was downright brilliant especially with the pressure he was getting and Steve Smith showed why he's going to the Hall.

It is true that Wisconsin does a good job every year coaching up their offensive line. I'm really happy with his play so far.
  16. And if they stay healthy and we get Asa Jackson back we'll do alright.

No, not me. To be honest, I thought we'd really blown it in the draft by not taking an OT. As of right now, looks like I was wrong.

I've been watching Wagner very closely on many plays in the pre-season and I've been very impressed. Kudos to Oz and the OL line coach. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Rick-Wagner-Officially-Won-Starting-Right-Tackle-Job/ea2b2587-8de1-438e-b924-daeb88acee76
  19. He's got what it takes to be a very good RB if he can just stop putting the ball on the ground.
  20. I don't know...I think we're all drinking too much purple Kool Aid.
  21. This is what I think is the key paragraph: "BAD NEWS: If the Ravens don't make a few fortunate scrap-heap pickups as they have done in previous years, their lack of depth at defensive end and cornerback will prevent them from having a playoff season. The team will go from one that wins low-scoring games to a squad that loses high-scoring ones."
