  1. This was on the front page of the Sun today. It's worth reading: http://eedition2.baltimoresun.com/Olive/ODE/BaltimoreSun/LandingPage/LandingPage.aspx?href=VEJTLzIwMTQvMDkvMDk.&pageno=MQ..&entity=QXIwMDEwMg..&view=ZW50aXR5
  2. I am not predicting what will happen Thursday night. We may get blown out. We may play tough. The latter would show a lot of character, especially if we could pull off a win.
  3. You are spot on., TBird. And I have no idea what was going through their minds when they left Harbs out to twist in the wind.
  4. Same here. And now his statue stands next to Johnny U. In front of M&T.
  5. Don't see any team that's going to ever want to take him on with this toxic environment.
  6. I grew up with the old Colts and, excepting for Irsay, never felt so embarrassed and let down by a local team. I don't think anyone or any organization acted appropriately and at the right time during this whole mess. Frankly, the NFL and the Ravens look just awful. I don't think the Ravens recover this year or next year as a winning franchise and I'm not just talking wins and losses. I'm talking about class and the lack of it too. One thing that has always bothered me about this team is the bad-ass image they seem to have cultivated. And now the chickens are coming to roost. It's a disgraceful day for the team, their loyal fans, and the City.
  7. I think you do IF he says no.
  8. That was certainly what was I remember being said at the time.
  9. Wagner was impressive.
  10. Joe stunk out the joint in the first half. He looked really lost with the new offensive system. He was rushed a lot, true, but if had thought less and reacted more that wouldn't have mattered. That many drops kill too. I wasn't impressed with our D. NO pass rush just like last year. It's a bend not break defense and that means your defense is on the field a ton. I agree that Harbaugh didn't have team ready. Hell, he didn't have the team ready last year either. It looked like team-wide mediocrity. Offense, defense, and special teams. Joe and the O got together in the second half but it wasn't enough. And I'm now fed up with Dean Pees and his D's lack of aggression.
  11. Pardon me, I would reply but I have to jump off a bridge.
  12. Right! His blocking is much improved since last year but it's still a work in progress.
  13. Cox must feel like he's on a yo-yo.
  14. FWIW, the Ravens are favored by 1 1/2 points.
  15. I'm still waiting on Elam to show me why we drafted him in the first round 2 years ago.
  16. I agree with every line of your post. The Ravens are going to have prove it to me that they're any good.
  17. Bengals 31 Ravens 20 and sorry to say it.
  18. I suspect they'll go with 53 which will mean more cuts later. I have a feeling Butler is going to wind up on the IR since he's got potential and is currently hurt.
  19. Geez...they cut Simon. Guess we were overloaded with LB's.
  20. I like Wenning but I think they wanted to keep an extra receiver or CB more than a third QB. Hoping he makes the practice squad.
  21. They gotta keep Wenning and Campanero somehow.
  22. Oh we'll here about every game from the play-by-play guys and the color commentator. Should be a delightful season.
  23. I wonder what the reaction would be if the Ravens extended his suspension for 4 more games. Don't know if the NFLPA has to be on board with that.
  24. Could be new contracts for Torrey and Justin.
  25. "The NFL spokesman also declined to address whether Rice’s suspension could be increased from two games to six under the new policy." So I guess this is a possibility?
