  1. You hit the nail on the head.
  2. I'm not sure Suggs can stay healthy anymore. Too many injuries are occurring in a short time frame. He may already be done. But best cap solution is to extend him unless... Maybe Rex would take him in a trade?
  3. As far as the draft is concerned, would you rather have a big WR like Evans or a TE like Ebron? Or does it matter? And speaking of Pitta, it sure is all quiet on that front.
  4. Julian Edelmann is a free agent this year and is only 27. I've always been impressed by how he gets open and gets yards after the catch. Do you guys think he's a possibility for us? If we can get him, it would open up all kinds of possibilities for the first round. What other suggestions do you guys have for receivers, O-line, TE, FS?
  5. Totally agree about the shit on other forums. I like, or liked, the way this forum has been. Until lately I've learned a lot,
  6. I would guess that's how little $50,000 is to a guy who's contracts have been in the millions for years.
  7. My concern is also that Rice is burned out. I hope, really hope, i'm wrong. I'd really like us to pick up a back in the draft with one of the comp picks.
  8. Hey WhatColts we could use another old timer so keep coming back.
  9. Or 1958-1959?
  10. Hell! That makes too much sense!
  11. I don't get the Engram move either after looking up his record. It's hard to believe this guy can teach our receivers with his lack of experience. He's only got 1 year as a receivers coach. He must have really shown something at Pitt or we're making a big mistake.
  12. WTF? Put this crap in your own forum will you? And stop hijacking threads!
  13. You're right about some teams always drafting high but not improving. They must be really screwed up in their ownership and front office.
  14. It's going to take time. Unfortunately, I think it's going to take a few seasons and by then Joe may either be gone to FA or getting old. There's a lot of parts that need rebuilding: OL, WR, RB, TE backup, FS. We actually might want to start planning on a replacement for Joe by drafting a QB in 2016. Drafting high for six years has created a talent shortage. But, of course, the ride was great and worth it.
  15. And most of those cities have been in the league for a loooooong time!
  16. That's what I thought. Must have been a reporting error. Wouldn't be the first time.
  17. I read on the Internet today that we only have 4 draft choices. Is that correct?
  18. The big thing I noticed about the Seahawks was their team speed, an area we need to do a lot in to improve.
  19. Joe is indeed entitled to a rest this time of year. I was merely stating that we don't know how Joe is going to react to having a guy who may be more challenging to him being OC. He might respond very well. Too much is being made out of this at this point.
  20. Eisenberg weighs in on this here: http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Eisenberg-Difference-Between-Ravens-And-Dysfunctional-Teams/930dde46-9443-4098-a77f-300f2ff33d2b He also says something I too have been wondering about. Is Joe going to buy in to Kub's way of doing things and challenging him? Joe's been noticeably quiet on this whole thing so far.
  21. Denver in a very close game.
  22. No one can really say what happened in this decision making process unless they were in on it and none of us, including Preston, were. All we can say is we have a 'feeling' one way or the other. My 'feeling' is that Harbs was 'guided' into making this choice. But I have no proof so anyone else's 'feeling' could be just as valid.
  23. Well, hopefully, our lineman have the footwork and mental/physical agility to make it work. Might take them some time to get good at it.
  24. OK...so what is zone blocking?
