  1. I'm with you...I want to see a real offense and a consistent offense next year. We've got a lot of young guys we've drafted for the D now it's time to straighten the offense once and for all. (Can hardly believe I'm still looking for this after all the years the Ravens have had a lousy offense...last year's playoff run is the kind of offense I'm hoping for).
  2. This team has too many freaking coaches whose responsibilities overlap. And, I blame Harbaugh for that particular mess. He needs to cut some coaches starting with Castillo. And what exactly is Spanguolo supposed to be doing??? But it IS Christmas so they might as well wait until the season is over which won't be long now.
  3. Well, you're right about one thing. Joe was deadly accurate on the long ball last year and I've noticed, like you, that there's been many times Torrey or Jacoby have been open deep and Joe under throws them. I'm starting to wonder if it's his arm or his brain that's lacking in that this year. Probably more of a confidence/timing issue???
  4. Same thing I was thinking. I don't think Flacco is capable enough to run Caldwell's offense. We need a balanced attack with a better offensive line. Then Joe does quite well. Big difference from last year's playoff run is we have had no running ability and a worse performing offensive line.
  5. Everybody have a great Christmas!
  6. That's a fair criticism of Harb's coach-speak. I'm tired of it too but still, it's not nearly as bad as the bullshit Billick used to throw around.
  7. There's nothing left in the tank. This freaking team drives me crazy one way or another every week.
  8. When I saw that I thought exactly the same thing. We're crude!
  9. Ngata has been playing better but he's not doing the things he used to be able to do.
  10. I don't have any problem with what he said.
  11. This team simply defies any reality based predicting. I can NEVER tell what they're going to do anymore. Seems like every game's a coin toss.
  12. I think Justin Tucker has surpassed Matt Stover with that one. And Stover was one of the best. The sky's the limit for this kid if he can keep his confidence.

    OMG

    FREAKING UNBELIEVABLE!!,
  14. If we win tonight, we'll win the next 2. If we don't, it's over now.
  15. I dunno, Max. I keep thinking about their defensive line vs. our offensive line.
  16. It's funny. I remember the Johnny Unitas led Colts often getting behind and him bringing us back. FWIW, I also remember John throwing a number of interceptions and occasionally being strip-sacked. It happens to even the best of them. His passing rating wasn't very high and he never led the league in passing in any given year, but I wouldn't want to have anybody else but him be on my All-Time team at quarterback.
  17. I've got a feeling that IF we beat the Lions, this town will be super-amped no matter what time we play the Pats.
  18. On the subject of quarterbacks, Tom Brady is a legitimate hall-of-famer but do people forget it might be more Bellichek than Brady? Remember when Brady was hurt and out for the season and Matt Cassell, yes Matt Cassell, was being hailed as the next great one?
