I think Justin Tucker has surpassed Matt Stover with that one. And Stover was one of the best. The sky's the limit for this kid if he can keep his confidence.
It's funny. I remember the Johnny Unitas led Colts often getting behind and him bringing us back. FWIW, I also remember John throwing a number of interceptions and occasionally being strip-sacked. It happens to even the best of them. His passing rating wasn't very high and he never led the league in passing in any given year, but I wouldn't want to have anybody else but him be on my All-Time team at quarterback.
On the subject of quarterbacks, Tom Brady is a legitimate hall-of-famer but do people forget it might be more Bellichek than Brady? Remember when Brady was hurt and out for the season and Matt Cassell, yes Matt Cassell, was being hailed as the next great one?
I really, really liked Stokley all these years. He had a lot of talent but his body durability just wasn't there. Lots of heart but injuries wiped him out year after year. I really hope he retires and is healthy 20 years from now,
I agree with Nado. Beat the Lions on the road this week and I'll believe they're a playoff team. I think it would set them up to at least be competitive with NE and Cincy. But I've got to see them beat some real quality first.
Flacco's last drive was really good stuff. He's at his best when the chips are down. I really like the way he's moving in the pocket and extending plays recently.
