  1. Makes me wonder what kind of a job the media is doing that we just learned this. Or maybe the Ravens kept a tight lid on it---but for what reason I don't know.
  2. So much for the so-called experts!
  3. I see the talent too. All we need is the concentration and chemistry.
  4. "I'm kinda glad Steve didn't sign Rex..." Good grief, Max. Its no contest. I've never been a fan of the fat blowhard as a HEAD coach.
  5. My favorite quote is from T-Sizzle: "...but I’ll tell you this. I [darn] well want to feel like this again.”
  6. I have the feeling Upshaw will work his ass (and fat) off and be solid contributor.
  7. Dammit, where's mine???
  8. That sounds like a deal!
  9. I think Ed Reed is a Raven through and through. It'll be hard watching him in another uniform but it had to be done.
  10. I'm excited too and I'm usually a pessimist. If they can escape the 'Winning the Super Bowl Funk' they will be a better team than last year. I think one of the new guys is going to be a solid WR. But we'll never again see a show like Boldin put on in the playoffs.
  11. An absolutely beautiful feeling for them and us fans! Enjoy it. Winning Super Bowls is hard.
  12. I guess his 'truce' days are over. Cut him off and let him troll elsewhere. Same for Old Crow.
  13. Well put.
  14. That was delicious to read and watch again! Rahim didn't think Joe could throw it that far!!
  15. Yup...old 'Long Gone'---back when nicknames were in vogue. Pricer was Alan 'The Horse" Ameche's backup. Good blocker but he was no 'Horse'.
  16. Quote from Caldwell: “We also want to be more consistent in terms of our passing game,” Caldwell said. “We were able to have a lot of big plays down the field and we have that big-play capability, but we also need to be really precise in terms of our underneath passing game.”

  17. OK. My bad. Thanks!
  18. McCauley was absolutely amazing on third down and short. I used to feel getting the first down was practically automatic. I remember Ron Lee. He had some flashes but succumbed to Irsay fever I guess. Don Nottingham was a 'too little' guy for the NFL that had a more than decent career. Here's the latest memory test: Anybody remember L.G. Dupre? Billy Pricer?
  19. Crap, Max, when you said Leaks instead of Leach I flashbacked to Roosevelt Leaks!!----remember him?
  20. I thought he had several but I could be mistaken. It's true you've got to have guys that are good---and who respect you. It would be great if somehow we could make an offer to Caldwell that he couldn't turn down like we did with Da Costa.
  21. Just so long as it not another former Eagle coach...
  22. Caldwell has been great but he's not the only good coach who can be a good coordinator.
  23. How Joe feels about it: http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Joe-Flacco-Doesn%E2%80%99t-Feel-Same-Way-As-Agent-Joe-Linta/7d54c479-e296-49a1-a949-dc830891d8d9
  24. I read somewhere on the Net today Linta was trying to 'explain' his comments. It seemed to me to be approaching an apology without having to formally apologize. Whatever...I'm ready to move on.
