Lamar better show up for this one if he really cares about showing he's a team leader and a winner.

Yes...Roquan is the real deal. And so is McDonald. I'm glad we have both of them. And Monken too.

He was the greatest back I've ever seen play. Relentless as he ran over and through defenses with guys hanging off him. Fast too. I'll never forget the match-ups he had with another great, Sam Huff.

Well, they are hungry so if they stay healthy with the guys they have, the rest of the league better take notice.

That is really good news. I'm very impressed with McDonald too. And also with Monken and the whole concept of 'football school'.

Not too worried about him physically...just some concern about making the mental adjustment to being football ready this year. By mid-season he should be there I hope.

He should do well filling in but mostly as a road grader. His pass protection has been iffy. All in all a decent move.

I heard on the wbal-tv sports that the Ravens have the one of the most traveled schedules in the league in miles flown. I hate night games too. 'Course, I'm old also.

Looks like we're locked in with Lamar since dead cap so high if we wanted to move on after year 3.

I've probably drunk too much purple Kool-Aid the last few days but I'm starting to feel warm and fuzzy about the upcoming season. There's a lot of talent potential on this team both on offense and defense. We could have an exceptional season if we can stay relatively healthy.

If Rock produces as he normally does, this will be a tough team to beat. And with Monken coaching the offense, I think the excitement will return to B'more this fall.

I liked Queen, especially after Roquan came here and lifted up Queen's play. But we need a CB badly and will probably have to get a FA who won't come cheap. Queen's 12.7mil cap hit if he had been extended can be better used on a CB. Hopefully, EDC has a plan.

All can say is that I hope we get the upgraded model of Lamar that sees the advantages of Monken and his system. That's why I was hedging my bets on the hope we'd pick up Stetson Bennett very late in the draft or as a UDFA. Unfortunately the Niners reached for him way early. He knows Monken's system inside and out.

Yup it was very early for him to get picked. Most mocks I saw had him going in the 6th or 7th or not at all.

My overall feelings about this Ravens' Draft is, well, meh. I love the Flowers pick but I can't get excited about anybody else. That said, we only had 5 picks in a down draft year. Still, I think we could have done a little better. I'd give it a solid C. With all the limitations we had that's really not so bad.

I was sorry to see Stetson Bennet go to SFO at pick 125. I had hopes of re-uniting him with Monken for us as a backup. I didn't think he'd go that early and thought he might fall to us as a UDFA. Oh well.
