  1. Hey D, well done and thanks!!
  2. Agree with all you had to say, Tsyl. If we didn't have Lamar we wouldn't even be in these games. I've finally come around to saying 'pay the man' and try to shore up the D and maybe get Lamar one offensive weapon, preferably one with really good quickness and speed. The defense is mediocre and I doubt we'll ever see another series of great defenses like we had before Lamar came here. And even then we only won 2 SB's in 11 seasons. We have to maximize what we do have and supplement it where possible. But keeping Lamar here is really the key to us having a chance to win any game.
  3. Anybody see how Travis Jones injury happened? Hate to be without him, man.
  4. Yeah,no injuries is a win. Plus we get to see our new rookies!
  5. I don't think they could make cap room for any other star players if they don't sign Lamar to a new contract. But, yep, it is a nice dream.
  6. JK looks great for his first day back...just hope he/they aren't pushing it too fast.
  7. Not only does he kick in a superior manner he also makes a good impression on camera for the franchise. That video of the Lions broadcasters is priceless!!
  8. Good, good news about Linderbaum and JK!!! Maybe we'll avoid the injury curse this season at least to the degree compared to last season.
  9. Good to hear about Faalele and Travis Jones. As for Proche, well we'll see how he does in the preseason. In the past he's shown a lot in practice but has disappeared in games. Now, that might be on Lamar just not feeling comfortable with him but whatever it is they need to fix it if Proche is going to have any impact here. I sure wish I could see Lamar run a series in this preseason game but I guess that will have to wait. I wonder if we'll see any of the high value proven players before the first game of the season???
  10. I'm looking forward to that preseason game. We'll see how the rookies and newly acquired vets fare. And quarterback and receivers. Even how the backups play will be important. Isn't Harbaugh supposed to address current injuries and rehabs at a presser today?
  11. More concerned about LT than safety.
  12. I don't know if Stanley will ever make it back. I hope he does if only for his sake.
  13. Sounds good Max and I too sure hope they can stay healthy and get Ronnie Stanley back as we knew him.
  14. Yup…same here.
  15. No. I have to agree that health is the bigger factor. There's a load of potential talent on this team and they need to stay healthy.
  16. One of our newly drafted TEs has a sports hernia that may require surgery...Ojabo is holding out over his rookie contract...Gus Edwards is not expected to be ready for week 1 per Harbaugh.
  17. Every little bit helps.
  18. Hard to believe both guys died the same day. What a downer. I feel for their families.
  19. Shocking. Sad. And just when he might have been on the verge of success too.
  20. Yep, gotta soak it in now. It's gonna be a long wait for the opening of Training Camp and preseason football. Lamar is definitely bulked up. That may help his throwing as well as his running.
  21. I am IMpressed with the new secondary and DEpressed that we don't have equivalent defensive pressure. We didn't have pressure last year and we haven't done anything to address that issue for the coming season so far. We probably need to make a trade somewhere, somehow to generate pressure. On offense, I have read both encouraging and discouraging reports about the health of J.K. Dobbins. Most frequently I'm hearing he'll start camp and perhaps the season on the PUP list which means you can probably forget about him for this season. Haven't read squat about the health of Gus Edwards. Meanwhile, we don't have a receiver with adequate deep speed and the accompanying moves to get open and Lamar isn't even practicing. Is he having shit fit because Marquise isn't here? Do I care?
  22. You hit the nail on the head.
  23. Just judging from his appearance at the presser, it looked to me that Sam didn't really want to go. But, time marches on and the Ravens have made it as painless as possible. From what I"ve seen, he was the best holder I've ever.
  24. Yeah...not sure our offense is adaptable enough to pull that off. Our coordinator would have to change his methods some and Lamar would have to execute it effectively on a consistent basis.
