I'm excited to see the Monken offense for sure. My optimism is tempered by how good or not good the defense is until Humphrey comes back and also the weather. I know thunderstorms can cause a delay in play or even a rescheduling if lightening is a factor.
It would be great to see if the Ravens can mount any kind of pressure from Ojabo or Oweh.
Can't really predict a score in this one. Let's just say we should win going away against a rookie qb and coach in their first start.
What I'm really looking forward to the most is what the revamped offense will look like and how the defense can compensate for injuries in the secondary and lack of a proven pass rush.
Anyway, I'll be glad to watching a real football game for a change. It's been a long time coming.
Well, if Huntley is healthy, it would make sense to cut Brown loose and fill that spot with a CB. He must be healthy enough to at the very least fill in if both Lamar and Huntley went down---an unlikely occurrence.
Yay! Johnson made the 53 after all! I mean he's not great but I think he's better than Brown or Huntley with a hamstring injury. Urban is also back on the 53, not that I expected any different...we played that game with him last year too.
Just saw where they added Melvin Gordon and Daryl Worley to the PS.
I'm sorry they put Brown on the PS rather than Josh Johnson who is still available. I'm not sure Tyler will be ready to go in 2 weeks what with his hamstring issue.
Hard to predict the final standings for AFC North. Too many really good or potentially really good teams. I'm just hoping for an exciting, entertaining season with a lack of injuries and with us making the playoffs and the offense looking potent and the defense remaining competent.
I guess Wallace beat out Treadwell. Proche had his chances here but he actually seemed to decline as time has gone on. Too many drops. Too few, if any, big plays.
