  1. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Don't waste a first round pick on a C.
  2. Well at least there are a good number of possibilities. And you're right...a win-now team would be the most likely landing spot.
  3. Then I definitely agree. Trade him while we can still get something for him and before he gets injured or suspended again.
  4. Would any of you give up a 3rd rounder this year and a third rounder next year to get into this year's second round? Do you think Decosta will trade Jimmy Smith for a second round pick or is that too high a compensation for him? Third might be more realistic, no?
  5. Yeah, I think cutting him was premature. And the gun wasn't even loaded.
  6. How can you not like this guy: Super hands and talented route runner... Riley Ridley, Georgia. Ridley might be the best route runner in this class, and add another plus to his resume: He has 10-inch hands. Like the other wideouts in this class, showing well in the drills will only improve his draft stock. If Harmon and Metcalf are gone by 22, this guy is worth considering.
  7. He's history now... https://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/
  8. McGovern sounds like what we're looking for if he shows his power at the combine. Ford is a blue-chip prospect; wouldn't feel sorry if we got him in the first. Wish we had a 2nd rounder to use on a WR. There's a lot of good ones out there this year but I think the best ones will be gone after middle second round.
  9. Too many drops killed him. I think his time has passed. Hopefully this will end trying to get WR's on the downhill side of their careers.
  10. I meant that the size of Flacco's contract restrained them not his play for the most part. When he had weapons Flacco was successful (Mason, Rice, Boldin, Heap, etc.
  11. Yeah I have to agree on what you said. Especially about Ford. Draft him for a guard position as were are temporarily OK at OT and we desperately need a LG to start now and another guard to be ready for when Yanda calls it quits.
  12. I don't think Trent got a fair shake. They could have at least given the pre-season to see how bad or good he was. If I remember right, we were having a big quarterback drought anyway.
  13. Would love to get a second round pick for him if they trade him.
  14. Yeah but they also had the Flacco contract restraining what they could do. I do like the energy DaCosta is bringing to the FO.
  15. Should we cut/trade Smith? He's awfully good when he's healthy. Unfortunately his cap number is high.
  16. I read where he is now the highest paid slot corner in the league. If he can control the slot, that would solve a problem we've had for years.
  17. Well whatever happens to Lamar you can't say he doesn't have a very high work ethic. I think he will succeed. He probably won't hit his full potential until the 2020 season but he'll do well enough in 2019 to keep the ball rolling. I still worry over him and injuries because he runs so much.
  18. Yeah I know Roman has been very big on Lamar and I see some of the same things...natural leader especially. I like what he says in your signature quote too.
  19. I like Lamar and am certainly hoping he works out. He's a good leader and elevates the play of those around him. He is unproven as a passer in the NFL and he scored 3 from the bottom in PFF's passer rating. So he has to improve. None of what has been said here by any of the posters is in anyway racist or prejudiced and it's insulting to be told that's what the people are here. Get your facts and act together.
