  1. Mayfield will be long gone by the 16th pick. Sutton and Price are good ones.
  2. Interesting that you both like Ridley over Moore. I was torn between the two but I thought Moore might be the tougher guy. Believe me, if we came away with Ridley and Gesicki I'd be very happy. Anybody else out there in the Extreme Ravens Land who has any thoughts??
  3. Hey guys, just wondering what three players you'd love to see the Ravens have drafted after this week. Be realistic, we're not going to get a top 6 quarterback. I'll take my shot now: 1) DJ Moore 2) Hayden Hurst 3) Kyle Lauletta or Mike White. Those aren't in any particular order by round but I'd be a happy camper with them.
  4. If Snead can stay healthy he might give us an increase in YAC when Joe has to check down. It seems to me that many other teams check down as often as we do, it’s just that they have these quicker receivers to turn short yardage into first downs,
  5. I'll add one more thing this group of receivers has to do: stay healthy, dammit!
  6. I don't mind the move as long as they realize they have to draft 2 WR's and a TE in the draft. Wondering what round they'll take a QB in... This is it: Ozzie's last chance to build an offense that consists of more than just receivers who are coming off down years..
  7. ...what really does concern me is that every one of the 3 guys we signed are coming off sub-par years.
  8. How fast does Joe check down compared to other quarterbacks in the league? Any stats on this?
  9. Well, I look at this way...if the Ravens do well I'll be surprised but happy. If they falter, and I think that's more likely, the team will no doubt be blown up by Bisciotti. Either way it will be an interesting season. Stay tuned.
  10. We don't need another headache especially with an aging WR. I don't think he's coming here anyway.
  11. Hard to tell with Joe what he feels...that's just the way he is. And why the offense has no leader.
  12. That's what I've been saying I'd like to see. They can't wait too long though because even the good second tier ones will probably be gone by when we draft in the 2nd round. Ideally, we'd trade back a few spots in return for an earlier spot in the second where we could take one like Lauletta.
  13. Yup...that's what I got out of it too. He does need weapons but he's really got to step up his play and dedication. I have to wonder, though, if age is also taking a toll on Joe earlier than many other quarterbacks. He just looks somewhat burned out to me.
  14. Thoughts to ponder: http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Eisenberg-The-Approach-to-Joe-Flacco-Has-Changed/dd15f0a7-d7b3-4a38-b60a-adee52ce4a06 ...could mean that it's time to perform or else it could very well be 'see ya' after the 2018 season.
  15. RG's race should have nothing to do with it.
  16. Sounds like another retread to say we've done 'something'. I don't think we're going to get where we want to be until after this year's, and possibly, next year's draft.
  17. Harbaugh's 'everything is beautiful' crap is wanting me even more to see him get fired. No matter what negative thing happens to this team, he's always 'excited'. Well, John, a lot of fans like me would like to be 'excited' by the product on the field.
  18. I don’t mind as long as they STILL DRAFT A QB in the 2nd or 3rd round. Otherwise a real WTF move and a sign of desperation to win this coming year to save everybody’s job. BTW, interesting move by Belichick in trading Cooks for a first rounder from the Rams.
  19. Reluctant to take a RB in the first round unless it was Barkley. There's plenty of good backs in the later rounds and their careers don't last long enough to warrant a first round pick. Barkley is the exception.
  20. Kiper says this. I disagree with taking McGlinchey but I"d be ecstatic if we get Ridley in the first and Gesicki in the second. Third round pick should be a qb like Lauletta or Kirk if they're still there. If not then we could take an OT. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Mel-Kiper-Names-Three-Pass-Catching-Tight-End-Options-for-Ravens/50c390e6-c5a5-4e81-b33b-f7bcc6a8b3fd
  21. Well Ridley's a good choice but I wouldn't be unhappy if we traded down to get Moore later in the 1st. I think he'll be gone by our pick in the second round. As for tackle, we need playmakers right now and should do everything we can to draft them.
  22. Speculation by mock drafters show the Ravens taking either Ridley, D.J. Moore, or the OT from Notre Dame who's name I've forgotten. Any thoughts?
  23. Mike White was the qb prospect I was also thinking of.
