  1. I'd certainly consider that an A draft...do you really think we have a shot to get all 3?
  2. Perriman’s biggest problem I think are psychological. And it is proving insurmountable for him. He really needs the help of a sports psychologist and even then he won’t be a top receiver. We’ll have to cut him loose.
  3. All this does is give the Biscut amo to make no changes... This team is terrible, the defense not as good as the 3 shutouts, yep, that is impressive. Even though they lead the league in picks, in redzone picks... Good quarterbacks will pick them a part, run all over them. Fine, just fine, nothing to worry about. Where is that picture of kevin bacon in animal house at the parade.... Just fine, stay calm... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That is exactly what I'm afraid of---Bisciotti doing nothing because 'Heck, we made the playoffs with a ton of injuries...no need to fire anybody.' Sheesh!

Good find Max on the scouts...that could explain a whole lot.

Looks like 8-8. Might be good enough for playoffs (that's pathetic) and bad enough to keep us out of the top 10 for the draft. They have to nuke this team in the off-season with just a few exceptions. We actually need about 2-3 losing seasons before we become a legitimate contender (for a Super Bowl) again. They have to draft with brains too. If I'm not mistaken, we do our own scouting for the draft. Several other teams are in a scouting combine. Has anybody seen if that's returning a better dividend than we're getting?
  6. According to SportTrac, if they release him post-June 1 in 2019, the dead cap is only $8 million. To find it, you have to have to hover the cursor over the $16 million figure. That means his last season would be 2018 if they went that route. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/baltimore-ravens/cap/2019/ In any case I don't think they should wait until 2020.
  7. I don't want to beat a guy when he's down, but Joe gives me the feeling he thinks he's good enough and doesn't see a need or have the will to put in the hard work to improve. The worst of it is that I think he has great talent and potential but lacks the appropriate work ethic. So, unless he has an epiphany, I think we're stuck with a below-average to mediocre quarterback. Time for the organization and fans to take the long view because short term things aren't going to get much better. They need to find a QB to groom for the future in the next draft. The next draft should focus totally on the offense: QB, O-line, WR, and Tight End.
  8. Yep. The whole organization needs an overhaul. Can't do much about Joe until 2019 except go and get his replacement this coming draft. Lots of good qb's supposed to be available. Bisciotti will really have his mettle and reputation tested with how he handles the front office changes. And whether he will even do anything.
  9. Kubiak would help long term but short term we need more offensive young talent. When Kubes left here I thought we should have made him head coach and bumped Harbaugh upstairs somewhere. But his heart was in Denver. I wouldn't say the Ravens will 'kill' him but I don't think he'll have the immediate success he had before. An alternative would be to clean house and hire Rick Dennison as head coach here with Kubes working for him. I just think Harbs, and others, have to go.
  10. Any dull Sunday routine beats watching the Ravens.
  11. Gosh Sylvester, you must be reading my mind!
  12. I can't watch the offense anymore. Heads must roll this off-season.
  13. Explain this anybody? http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Reports-Matthew-Judon-Fined-Twice-as-Much-as-Dolphins%E2%80%99-Kiko-Alonso/8b2366d1-6148-4d9a-b73c-48a2df427a65
  14. They should have sent a real message and suspended him for one game and fined him. Sylvester is right...they really don't care unless it's somebody who brings money in like Brady.
  15. Glad to hear he's OK. Really wondering if they have a chance to win any of the next 3.
  16. And we will eventually get Canady and Young back next year.
  17. Didn't he have a few domestic issues while he was with us?
  18. Yeah, if they ever start beating teams with better records, even once in a while, it will be a very positive sign but I don't think that's in the cards this year. Some other notes: I have given this guy all the time in the world but Perriman looks like another WR bust for the Ravens. Highly disappointing! Collins is the real deal. Reminds me a bit of Leveon Bell. If he stays consistent for the rest of the season with this awful O-line we have, I'll feel comfortable at running back. Pleased with Boyle. Weddel is past his prime. Humphrey's is impressive! Looking forward to having Yanda and Lewis back next year. How is Jensen really doing? I get conflicting feelings about him. At least he's stopped become a penalty machine. What happened to Correa, Bowser, and the rest of the picks after Humphrey? Not much return on these guys.
  19. I thought they played well and with an energy I haven’t seen in quite awhile. But keep in mind they were going against a really bad team. We have to show concistency before I become a believer again. I don’t think Mallett can show that. Hell, I don’t think Joe is consistent either. So I’m in a wait and see mode.
  20. I agree with Va. above. Hard to know who has any value and what we could get for them. First things first is a new front office and coaching staff. Message to Bisciotti: get to work!!!
