My guess is the Ravens will garner more respect in the future. Something has shifted this season and Lamar is a big part of it. Winning and excellent football is part of it. Team character and chemistry is part of it. We know what it was like to be hated as a result of the Browns move to Baltimore. Right or wrong, the hate was there from the media on down. Until now. And now, if you are an NFL fan, the Ravens are must see games. It's cool to be a Ravens fan outside of Baltimore. It's OK to praise them. The bandwagon over load is huge nationally. Their image has changed. Maybe the perceived sins of the past are forgiven.
  3. It's taken years of successes and failures, learning, experience and finally, good fortune, for the Ravens organization to create this 'Perfect Storm'. Any change will diminish it. Yet the whole is greater than the parts, and this beast should continue to steam roll.
  4. What do you think Pete?.... "Thank you for asking...
  5. Texans, Bills or Titans. All very solid teams. Bills have lost 3 out of their last 4. That's not hitting the playoffs on a roll. Texans have lost 2 out of their last 4. Titans have lost 2 out of their last 4. They seem the most dangerous of the 3. Who do you want to see?
  6. No! No Greg NO!!! Save Yourself!
  7. z-1. San Francisco 49ers (13-3): NFC West leader. Barely hung on to claim division and steal home-field advantage by winning final game of NFL's 100th regular season. From NFL plays to college sports scores, all the top sports news you need to know every day. y-2. Green Bay Packers (13-3): NFC North champions. Escape act in Detroit conveyed first-round bye. x-3. New Orleans Saints (13-3): NFC South champions. Inferior conference record ultimately kept them out of mix for first-round bye. Still, they'll be home in Superdome for wild-card round when Vikings come calling. x-4. Philadelphia Eagles (9-7): NFC East champions. Battered team pulled away from Giants late Sunday, wrapping up the division and putting the Cowboys out to pasture. x-5. Seattle Seahawks (11-5): Wild card No. 1. Came up inches short of winning NFC West and now must travel to face red-hot Eagles. x-6. Minnesota Vikings (10-6): Wild card No. 2. Locked into sixth spot, they had nothing to gain Sunday. Now they'll face wrath of Saints fans two years after Minneapolis Miracle. AFC z-1. Baltimore Ravens (14-2): AFC North champions. The road to Super Bowl LIV goes through Charm City for the first time after they sewed up home-field advantage in Week 16 ... which is why they rested so many key players Sunday. y-2. Kansas City Chiefs (12-4): AFC West champions. They survived Chargers and got major assist from Dolphins to overtake New England for conference's second first-round bye. x-3. New England Patriots (12-4): AFC East champions. Shocking loss to Miami relegates them to wild-card weekend for first time since 2009 by virtue of Week 14 loss to Kansas City. Pats have never reached Super Bowl under Bill Belichick and Tom Brady when they didn't have benefit of a first-round bye. Next up: Tennessee. x-4. Houston Texans (10-6): AFC South champions. Chiefs' win early Sunday locked Texans into fourth slot. Houston will host Bills on wild-card weekend. x-5. Buffalo Bills (10-6): Wild card No. 1. Lost to Jets on Sunday, but Buffalo had nothing at stake. Bills head to Houston for wild-card matchup next weekend. x-6. Tennessee Titans (9-7): Wild card No. 2. They creamed the Texans, got Derrick Henry the rushing title ... and earned coach Mike Vrabel a wild-card reunion with his former employer in New England. Titans' win officially eliminated Steelers and Raiders. x — clinched berth y — clinched first-round bye z — clinched home-field advantag
  8. What poor soul gets the job in ......
  9. Are you going to camp out like last time? Let's take a peek at crav fishing...
  10. It's the O line. They had Brown at LT and Hurst at RT and still didn't miss a beat. Bozeman...some rookie at center...Mekari...How does this happen? Eric keeps pulling rabbits out of the hat.

  12. Ravens ran them over...
  13. Just saying.....
  14. Jerry and his followers are wearing their funeral faces.
  15. I love the message and focus.... Incredible feat to go along with being the 1st team in this history of the NFL to average over 200 yards and 200 pass yards per game in a season. I'm not worried about this team losing their focus and intensity. Not after tonight.
  16. crav we've never seen anything like this. The Ravens are the first team in the history of the NFL to average over 200 yards rushing and 200 yards passing a game for a season. Think about it. The O line steam rolled the Steeler D. They are ready to do the same in the playoffs. We may not have seen their best yet. Here...I'm bringing her out for you....and everybody...let's celebrate.
  17. It was a friggn'n blast. The 4th quarter especially when that Ravens fan ripped his shirt off in the rain and we were doing the R-A-V-E-N-S!!! cheer. And then the players smelled blood in the water and basically went psycho. I brought rain gear and didn't need it and it was warm so that really helped. Wet and cold is no fun, but that was not the case today. The looks on the Steer fans were priceless and I did my thing innocently standing in their face with my AFC North Champs hat on... The Steelers had everything to play for. Instead... "They were sent forth into the weeping and gnashing of teeth..."
  18. "WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING!!!?"
  19. There's plenty to play for today....and enjoy. Like... I'll be wearing my AFC North Championship hat and "The North is Not Enough" shirt. In an easy and relaxed manor, I'll casually and innocently hover around Steeler fans where they can not avoid a good view of it. No need to taunt. The looks on their faces should suffice. 93 yards! This is a huge record to break. The All Time Team rushing record that many have considered unbreakable as this has become a passing league. Name it. Claim it. Knocking the Steelers out of the playoffs...Check! Winning 12 in a row and finishing with a team record 14-2 for the first time. Finally....This last one is going to be hard to pull off, yet I'm not one to back down from a challange. I intend to inspire fans to join me and perform Gene Kelly's dance in 'Singing in the Rain' as we merrily leave the stadium...
  20. Nice! Especially with Joe Burrows coming to Cincinnati. He's murdering Oklahoma at the moment.
  21. Who's not playing....
  22. This is not good. Any kind of distention. He needs to be more professional. It's not about him this time of year or with what's at stake. The Ravens have a history of role players making important plays in the playoffs. Accept your role, work harder, and the time to shine will come.
  23. Duck will give the game away and the Ravens have Peko to fill in for Williams. Peko is all on and totally caught up on the Lamar and Big Truss fever. Big Truss will win the day. Steelers (8-7) at Ravens (13-2) 4:25 p.m. ET | CBS Matchup rating: 54.4 | Spread: PIT -2 (37) What to watch for: The Steelers are fighting for their playoff lives and are the only undefeated team in Week 17 since 2008. The Ravens have already clinched the top seed in the AFC and could make as many as six Pro Bowl players inactive, including NFL MVP front-runner Lamar Jackson. -- Jamison Hensley Bold prediction: The Steelers will score two defensive touchdowns. A week ago, outside linebacker Bud Dupree said the defense has to score for the Steelers to win. They'll do so in the finale against the Ravens, but the offense won't be able to come up with a game-winning drive. -- Brooke Pryor Stat to know: The Steelers haven't scored 30 points in a game this season. The last time they went a full season without scoring 30 points in a game was 1971. What's at stake: Pittsburgh can clinch the AFC's No. 6 seed via three different scenarios: 1) a win and a Titans loss, 2) losses by the Titans and Raiders with a Colts win, or 3) wins by the Colts and Raiders along with losses by the Bears, Lions, Chargers and Patriots. The Ravens have already clinched home-field advantage and plan to hold out most of their key players for this game. Betting nugget: Pittsburgh has won 11 straight Week 17 games, the longest active streak in the NFL (7-4 ATS). It's 11-1 overall in Week 17 under Mike Tomlin. Read more. Pryor's pick: Ravens 17, Steelers 14 Hensley's pick: Steelers 23, Ravens 20 FPI prediction: BAL, 85.1% (by an average of 13.8 points)................https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/28366043/week-17-nfl-game-picks-schedule-guide-playoff-scenarios-more "Pittsburgh has won 11 straight Week 17 games, the longest active streak in the NFL (7-4 ATS). " That ends. Head Coaches are important but Lamar will have this team fired up and focused.
  24. When asked how he would coach back in January, Freddie Kitchens responded, "I'm going to coach like I coached at Glenville State College." In this day and age, it's refreshing to see a man true to his word.
