  1. There are 587 local reporters covering Ravens training camp. They are our eyes and ears, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health... Hell Yea! It's the Ravens Revolution! The whole Ravens organization is all in on "changing the game." This is no "on the fly" haphazard" plan. It's too well thought out. Look at the coaches Harbaugh has,. Look and the personnel Eric brought in. And Just Remember; The Greatest Show on Turf came out of nowhere...and...Oh! "And last time I looked the Ravens were the AFC North Champs."
  2. Good point. No sense in breaking out the plays unless you have to.
  3. Interesting commentary on Lamar....
  4. The Ravens will run the ball and run it well....probably the #1 rushing attack in the NFL.
  5. I agree that they won't show their offense during the preseason so we won't know what it's going to look like. The Dolphins won't know what hit them opening day. We have no idea about the wide receivers. Most are NFL No-Names with very little production. There is potential here but right now it's Fools Gold. Brown won't be up to speed until week 8 (that's my guess right now)....so Lamar has Sneed, Moore and maybe a very raw Boykin???? I don't know about that. I don't think that scares anybody. Thankfully Hurst and Andrews will scare everybody and Lamar has his running backs to throw to. How about doing this?.....
  6. Agreed. That's a no-brainer. Ravens 10-6 Steelers 8-8. Wedding in Pittsburgh....
  7. Me too. Shit! I might even enjoy that.
  8. Sounds about right....
  9. Agreed. Aaron Rodgers is probably the best QB in the NFL but the Packers can't get back to the Super Bowl because of his cap hit over the years. It hurts the front office as far as building a solid team. They can't afford to get or keep good players. The same is true with Brees in New Orleans, Ryan in Atlanta. Somehow the Chargers have found a way with Rivers but over the years that team wasn't deep enough to go deep in the playoffs. It's nice to have these great QB's, yet the rest of the team suffers with too many weak links.
  10. She nails it last night on Stephen Colbert. https://youtu.be/G7TZe8_nYp8
  11. Preston does a good job defining our High Anxiety..... The bottom line is that nobody knows if Lamar Jackson can win consistently in the NFL. We have been going round and round on this. Speculating. Guessing. All I know is that is was fun and exciting watching the Ravens last year once Lamar took over. Watching Kyle Bolar was not fun. Watching Joe was not fun except for 1 out of 4 games. Watching him in the playoffs was outstanding. His rookie year was fun because we didn't know if he would be the key to turn things around and he showed that he was. We got our hope back. It's the same situation now. Potential. Can it become reality? Preston states it well here; "He had a one-season reprieve as a rookie, and even though he helped the Ravens win six of their last seven regular-season games and reach the playoffs for the first time since 2014, he basically has two years to prove he can win consistently in the NFL." As a long time Ravens and NFL fan, I expect to see a lot of ups and downs this season as Lamar and this offense develops. He basically has a brand new offensive scheme to learn and implement. A brand new arsenal of weapons and tools to get acclimated with. There will be a learning and adjustment curve. If Lamar survives that and takes the next step then the sky is the limit. The beginning of this journey starts now.
  12. Today is "Let the Truth Be Known Day!"
  13. He's smart enough to be making more money than you.
  14. This is more accurate...........
  15. Winning 6 out of 7 games to close out the regular season is not indicative of a team on the down swing. It's the opposite. The lone loss was a 27-24 OT loss to the red hot Chiefs. It is very hard to predict the Ravens record this season...and too early. One thing that I know: When Harbaugh has a talented roster, it bodes for a good year....and he has one very deep and talented roster. I hope this makes it to the Ravens bulletin board.
  16. Pierce is beginning to look like another Zeus situation. I'm on board with everybody as far as the Brown concerns. Speeds his game and if one of his wheels doesn't work right then he's useless.
  17. FYI.... Try this instead. It's safer.
  18. Global warming, and the issues that come with it, is escalating faster than I ever thought it would. Yet so is the rising awareness worldwide and in our country, so hope remains. This is scary..........
  19. And of course, fans will be asked to watch and pay for an inferior product.
  20. With all the great QB's and receivers the Ravens will have to face, the defensive secondary is the one spot the team needs to be deep and talented. The Ravens are ranked #1 at this spot and #1 as to having the deepest position group in the NFL.
  21. 1st pre season game less than a month away! August 8th.
