I'm thinking Titans game. With him and Andrews on the field...look out!
-
Several sites are starting to put up "Look out for the Ravens" articles. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/ravens-showing-they-might-be-scariest-team-in-the-nfl-after-3-weeks/ar-AAAzdKA?ocid=U508DHP 3 games. We know better. Show me. Prove it. Yet....the ingredients for a playoff contending team are there. They have a lot to prove to me. Sunday was a big step forward. Now: Win on the road, Win in the division, Defeat teams with winning records, defeat playoff caliber teams and I'll be a believer. I'm on the bandwagon already. I had a blast watching them yesterday and never doubted that they would come back and win. So I must be seeing some team strengths.

Ray Lewis sighting...rain...home field...Joe... -= WIN! After the Broncos went up 14-7 the D settled down and pitched a shut out. All 4th quarter I was souting "finish! Finish." And this time they did even though Judon continues to make stupid personal fouls. They should walk him over to Grants empty locker and make him stare in it for 15 minutes. He's a liability. The blocked field goal that wasn't legal. Happy to see that they stuck with the run that wasn't producing. 28 attempts for a sorry 2.8 ypc. Yet 2 of those went for touchdowns making the ravens a perfect 13 for 13 in the redzone. That is really damn good. And the rush TD's and pass TD's make for a great mix. In the post game press conference you could see Joe wasn't happy with the Judon penalty and I bet the rest of the team felt the same. Great play and TD by Peanut...taken away. He was so focussed on getting to the endzone and then happy and then.... Crowd felt the same way. Joe danced around the running game questions but it looked like he was disappointed. It's on the line. Yet...Von Miller has never had a sack against the Ravens. Hurst, with help, had a very good game protecting Joe. I not as worried about Tucker as I was during training camp. He's the same old clutch, excellent Kicker. Rossberg has some work to do. Way too many ST breakdowns. Weddle called a good game too. Kenny Young is a tackling machine. He's fast, smart and has great focus. Brown, Snead, Crabtree and Andrews were very solid. There's hope...IF[/b]...this team can stay healthy. "IF' they keep building and developing during the season then they will have some serious weapons on offense in the post season...."IF" they make the playoffs. They have too much football ahead, with too much remaining to prove, that they are trending toward being a playoff team, yet this week they did not look like the "same old Ravens." Bengals lost. Ravens tied for first. Oops! Wrong game.

This could be negotiated into future contracts. Players would have to accept less money in salary and bonus while adding this benefit. They would bring home a lot less on the front end, yet guarantee future security. It will piss of family, friends and girlfriends who want to cash in on them.
-
Oh...I thought you meant what O line the Ravens would trot out on to the field. No line=no season.
-
Mahomes is on fire. Incredible what he's been able to do.
-
My guess is that he stared at the long season ahead and just felt like he didn't want to suffer any more. First time I have heard of something like this. At least he's honest and didn't want to steal a paycheck.
-
Why trade when you can get him for free tomorrow and then, like a flu virus, he can infect your team. Let him and Bell be cell mates.
-
Can we play the Bills again?
-
At Cincy...where the Ravens...and Joe...suck. I'm worried about this one. Worried about the O line keeping Joe upright and their ability to establish the run. Worried about Jefferson and Weddle's coverage skills....and can the linebackers cover? Then again, Dalton can't do much laying on his back. Whoever makes 2-3 big plays wins.
-
He had no impact on the game when he was in as a glorified decoy. He will cut into the little time the Bengals D has to game plan. That's a plus...yet both teams know each other.
-
The verdict is in! UPGRADE!!!!
-
Last year the Bills allowed the 2nd fewest TD passes in the NFL. Brown, Snead and Crabtree each had 1. Yes...to nit pick...I wasn't happy with the run game in the 1st half...but Damn!!!...the Ravens were so totally dominant and this bodes well. They spanked a lesser opponent like a quality team does. Very surprised to see how much Jackson was on the field in the first half. Teams have to game plan for this. It was a slaughter. Oh Yea! Steelers and Browns tie!!!

This is a hard day for me because I've got to admit I'm too old to sit in 3 hours of rain plus all the walking to the stadium. Plus I don't like riding my bike in the rain. I'm sure there will be other no shows like me. Playoff game? I'm there. Steelers? I'm there. Bills???? Steady downpour???? I've been pumped up for a month looking forward to opening day. You know the organization will go all out. They are honoring Boldin. The Ravens look like a very good team on paper, so I want to see how they stack up when it's real. And...I really want to cheer them on with my fellow fans. This is a beefed up roster, resurrected from the ashes of last season, with a ton of talent and hungry players. They should be in every game this year with a decent chance of making the playoffs.

Here's the longest article and interview that I've seen on Joe. It's really good. https://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/joe-flacco-opens-up-about-lamar-jackson-his-motivation-and-future

I'm totally excited and can't wait to be there Sunday. Nobody is talking about Collins. The Bills have a shitty run D. Pound it.
-
I just saw Joe in an interview. I've never seen him speak about the offense so confidently. He actually said they are going to be exciting to watch. Then Harbaugh....he was smiling from ear to ear. You could feel how happy he is with where this team is at after this long preseason. He's confident and excited. Weddle was the same about the D.

The Ravens D and Special Teams give them a 50/50 chance at winning any of those games where they are listed as underdogs.

The depth behind them remains the same. You have Moore and then a bunch of guys who can't catch and make plays.
