  1. Not good. Boyle and Williams are getting a lot of work and looking good from what I hear. They know the offense, have bulked up to perfect shape and are pushing themselves to be dependable and versatile so they can make the team. 4 solid TE's is a great base to have. We should see more 2 TE formations this year.
  2. All daily camp reports state the he is struggling with accuracy. He's a project. Not starting material. I still can't wait to watch him this preseason. Here's a Jackson to Flacco TD. Look how far Joe throws the ball after the catch....into the next zip code. https://www.baltimoreravens.com/video/play-of-the-day-joe-flacco-catches-touchdown-pass-from-lamar-jackson
  3. They made the list of teams most likely to implode.... Tampa, Raiders, Seahawks, Jags, Dolphins, Broncos and Bills are on it. I think the Steelers should be on it too.
  4. The same goes for you.
  5. Good article. I'm excited because of what they did this off season. The stadium improvements sound nice. I'll see that soon. We needed a lot of fresh faces. Play makers. and I think they have a few now. I think it will translate into wins. I also think this team is a year away from being a legit contender. This season could be huge in an intangible way with all the new faces learning how to play together as one and learning how to play like a Raven. They have to turn a big corner this year from learning how to find ways to lose to learning how to find ways to win. They need a year to become a vet unit. Then...lookout! I'm ready to raise Hell.
  6. Injuries are my biggest concern with almost 2 months of camp/preseason time before opening day. And will all this extra work leave them worn out and flat footed in December? This roster has the most players that I know the least about....since forever. Who steps forward out of the pack will be exciting to see. I want to see "Ravens." Not check cashers.
  7. 2+2=4 papa writes for this rag and he's a big financial backer.
  8. He could be something super special for the Browns who haven't had a legit QB in decades. He is saying and doing all the right stuff and seems like a breath of fresh air compared to what comes off that lake. I hear he has accuracy issues. But...it's way too early to tell. Training camp hasn't even started. He has a playbook to learn...probably very little comes naturally for any rookie QB. I'm seeing Mark Sanchez at the moment talent wise. Mayfield is 10 times the leader.

The Ravens "could have" one of the best TE tandums in the league for years to come.

Yes it will. And there's a boat load of other players that I think will surprise and emerge into solid contributors. And...5 preseason games to compete to win spots. It is so nice to come home from work, watch some Ravens practice videos....7/19 just a month away!
  11. It's an intuitive thing that takes time to develop. The offense lines up, looks at the D and without saying a word, the QB and WR's know exactly where to exploit it. They see the weakness, the soft spot. It's like a silent audible. One knows where the other will be. One mind.
  12. and it should after last year. They didn't get the pressure that was needed and gave up too much against the run...
  13. No. That smoked you out of your hole fast. 8/17...NFL.com ESPN....8/15/17... That should be enough about being picked to make the Super Bowl. And.... I'm not talking about them being in this years Super Bowl. Simply noting that the Bandwagon is beginning to take on passengers for a possible playoff berth.
  14. Yeah Yeah Ranking most likely new NFL playoff teams, and who each would replace Hurst and Andrews....going to be huge. Joe loves the TE's. Collins....decent O line....not too shabby when you throw in the D and Special teams. The can make some noise. Anybody else think this could be one of Joe's best seasons? I mean a Flacco best season....not like an Aron Rodgers type of season. Joe doing what he does best and more often.
  15. And what? The Ravens go to Mosley and say we'll top that by $5 mill if you sign now? Only an idiot for an agent would want to do a contract now. Too late for that.
  16. WHAT IF JOE FLACCO WASN'T BORN? What if he met Gandalf in the womb?
  17. Again....it's way too early to tell if he'll be a solid starting NFL QB, but his teammates love him.... My eyes will be glued on him every preseason game. And that's not too far off!
  18. If we all start calling for Jackson to play this season then remember this.... Weddle is being PC. He couldn't come out and say that Jackson isn't an NFL caliber QB so he calls him "a talent". I feel strongly that Jackson needs a year as a back up so he can properly develop. With proper coaching and scheme, he could be electrifying. He could be scary for defenses and DC's. As for this year......let him get comfortable with the offense and game speed. I can't wait to see him in the pre season games. I think he'll tear it up and light us up. We haven't had this type of QB or caliber of athlete under center. Taylor was the closest. They share the same strengths and weaknesses.
  19. I definitely think they are opening a new window to success. They have a very solid roster. It's younger, faster, stronger and highly motivated. One more season of experience working together will pay off big in 2019. As for now...it's too damn early to tell if they are playoff caliber. I am excited. I say give it until week 4. We should know by then.
  20. Glad to see it. I bet there's a woman out there who can do a better job than Morningwig.
  21. He doesn't want to play football. He just wants one more big paycheck.
  22. Go for it if the money is not a big issue. All franchises go through highs and lows. The Ravens are no different. I definitely have not enjoyed the product the last few years but still had a good time at the games. Last year was the first time that I thought about selling my PSL's but this off season and the direction this team is heading has me excited again. Money is going to be an issue if the product keeps getting watered down. Being a PSL owner I was able to have a seat for their playoff games and I'll never forget them. There are certainly real clunkers and disappointing losses but that makes the big wins feel so good. There are a ton of memorable, exciting wins and being there, sharing those moments with the fans was outstanding. I say this because football is a hobby for me. A 3 hour escape into something none serious that I guess, myself and many fans take too seriously at times. I get to go out, scream my brains out and come home purged. Can't help it. I'm a Baltimore and a Ravens fan.
  23. Here's another perspective......
  24. I've been saying the U.S. is totally missing the boat by not going green. If we went all out to develop this technology, then the rest of the world would be buying from us. Our economy would boom like it did after WW2. As a bonus....there may be a rest of the world in the future. Really feels good to see Maryland as one of the States. US Climate Alliance California | Colorado | Connecticut | Delaware | Hawaii | Maryland | Massachusetts | Minnesota | | New Jersey | New York | North Carolina | Oregon | Puerto Rico | Rhode Island | Vermont | | Virginia | Washington |
  25. Other than Tucker and possibly the Ravens D who would you draft? It would be a wasted pick. As the season rolls on there may be some games to use Joe or Collins.....maybe one of the TE's breaks out.
