Answering this hurts my head! OK cleertz...you are allowed one question like this in your lifetime!...I only have a short supply of brain cells left... The stadiums would have happened anyway. Not a Dan Marino fan and Ursay was driving fans away. The league should have never allowed a drunken megalomaniac to own a team. What he did to the Baltimore Colt franchise made it unrecognizable, so, in a very real sense, I had lost "My Colts". I think I would have eventually stopped supporting them with him as an owner. Actually, I'm sure he would have chased me away. The right question for me out of this is: Would you go 13 years without football if it meant switching ownership from Irsay to Art and then Steve. Answer: Yes!
Elway couldn't win shit until they got Terrell Davis. I guess if they draft Marino I would not have a 13 year void of no football in my life. For the young posters who don't get where the Baltimore Colts fans are coming from....imagine this scenario: You've been Ravens fans long enough. You witnessed a couple Super Bowls. You love this team. You wake up tomorrow and the Mayflower vans moved the franchise to LA during the night. It will be 13 years before Baltimore gets another NFL team.....they won't be called the Ravens.
You know that I've seen a lot of football cleetz, and this is the best playoff run that I've ever seen. The Ravens went through and beat The Best. I do not have the Blu Ray yet...how did I miss that!?! Here's the link for anybody who wants to buy it.... http://nflfilms.nfl.com/2013/03/11/the-2012-baltimore-ravens-story-is-here/
That's just part of the story. How about all the great free agents Ozzie brought in? Woodson, Goose, McCrary, Sam Adams, Gash, Boldin, Mason, Leach, Burke, McNair, Sharpe,...many others were not big names but were solid starters.
dc...you must keep enlightening us.... I did watch and follow most of the games last year but I've been out of following baseball for over a decade. I have a lot of catching up to do.
It's too early to tell the motives or reason....political, religious or otherwise. There is not enough information that has been released yet. It's not too early to know these two were mentally sick and twisted.
He's working at Dairy Queen this off season... This was hard to doo....present a check to the family whose son was killed by a hit and run driver... http://bustedcoverage.com/2013/04/19/joe-flacco-spent-his-friday-working-at-dairy-queen-photos/#photoid=9
The scheduling changes every year, but the goals remain the same regarding how to conquer it. One game at a time. Win at home, split on the road. Win in the division. Defeat teams with winning records. Defeat playoff caliber teams. Then they will be playoff ready.
