I ask myself similar questions. Is it wrong for a man to squint his eyes shut during a proctology exam? Is it wrong, after a bad day at work, to bury the gas pedal to the floor, play 'Highway to Hell' on the radio full blast, close your eyes, let go of the steering wheel and scream at the top of your lungs? Is it wrong to be paranoid when everybody around you is whispering "What's wrong with him?" There are some questions that we may never answer in our lifetimes Dee.

Todays Quiz. What ER poster made the following comment?

The only way this works for the Ravens is that McClain has totally got the message and wake up call on his ignominious release from the Raiders. That he understands that he is viewed as a player who is only interested in picking up a check and partying, that he was immature and has wasted his talent and that after this stop, he's on his way out of the NFL if he doesn't grow up and produce. To me he is the antithesis of what a Raven is. He has to show that he has changed in his core and is worthy of his uniform by his actions and performance. I'm head scratching on this deal.

Speaking of big...think this girl has a problem?

Maybe you could use that photo in your signature. Then you would one up papa as have the largest signature photo. Each thread page would be only 2 posts long.

I'm sure you had an enjoyable hour choosing that photo that takes 30 minutes to download crav. What stood out for you in that photo that led you to choose it over others?

What was their score and is there a way to know where they stand overall?

Brad Pitt can't play Unitas! They can't afford him.

Here's another distraction in a short off season. Joe's going to play Johnny U in the movie "Unitas We Stand"... There are times that Joe looks like Johnny U in his delivery and follow through. Just yesterday I thought that while watching a replay of the Ravens win over Mexico's Team last season. His TD pass to Tory Smith and a completion to Boldin down the right sideline had me blink for a moment.

Not true. They will get picks for Reed, Ellerbe and Kruger who were Free Agents. They do not loose any for Spears, Hull, Dumerville or Canty because they were waived by their team. Yes...Ozzie upgraded the talen,t plus he now has at least 3 comp picks. He squeezed all that he could out of this situation....hence the title "Ozzie the Miser".

John does a great job getting to the bottom line and truth on why Reed, Pollard and Ayambadejo were not retained. I know I pasted too much of the article, but it was so well written. I suggest going on their site and reading it. It wasn't about personality and ego conflicts with Harbaugh. I think that can be one of the factors in player evaluations. For example the Ravens have an image...a vision of the type of player who they want. We hear it all the time: "He's a Raven". If you don't fit into that, then you don't wear the uniform. Where I got lost at times during these and other departures was figuring out how much age, speed, and the Cap figured into these decisions, while still tied to my emotional attachment to certain players (Reed, Boldin and Pollard). I did not want to see them go. I also do not want to see the Ravens get old, slow and in Cap Hell. The time to "let go" came fast and sudden and...Oh Well...take a deep breath and move on.

He's a wizard but he has a touch of the "miser" in him too. As you can see from the paragraph below he has squeezed every last ounce of value out of his roster moves over the years... Us....

The starters and bullpen have to do better. This torrid hitting streak won't last all season. There will be peaks and valleys. Pitching, especially the relievers and closers, were a huge part of last seasons success. To make the playoffs again the O's pitchers have to step up.

This is a really interesting look at the video from the lockerroom
vmax replied to papasmurfbell's topic in NFL General
But that is part of my point. They can not communicate and be themselves at halftime with cameras and microphones all over the place. They can't object. I want the Ravens coaches and players to have the time and privacy that they need to regroup and come out for the second half "like their hairs on fire". The NFL is doing this to keep fans in the stands. This paying PSL fan does not want this perk. -
You're wasting your time. That is too much for crav to understand.

I don't want this. Think about it. If you're on camera, then are you going to say the same things as you would in private? Players need some privacy to collect their thoughts and adjust before going out for the second half. If I'm the safety and you're the CB and one of us missed our assignment and was out of position, then how do we discuss it while on camera? Now they have to hide injuries and bruises instead of getting what immediate treatment that may help while sitting at their locker. They other team will spy..."Flacco's got a contusion down his whole left side." The players who are young and dumb with over blown egos can use this as a self promoting stage. Finally....fans will miss it anyway because many are in the bathrooms. At M&T even the radio doesn't work in most men's rooms. -
I know. Instead of looking at the ground, he accidentally made eye contact with Harbaugh, who thought it was insubordination.

I'm insulted and my feelings are hurt. I know the answer but I'm not telling you.

Hey...it might work.... He's listed at 295 lbs. Take off the 23 and you have a 272 LB. I think the organization is going to make sure nobody runs on them this year.

GRAND SLAM! Walk Markakis to load the bases to pitch to Davis. Real smart move. Manager of the Year stuff.

Browns to Skri Lanka?

Here Kevin Byrnes response to this nonsense....

It's a high price to pay for the O's faithfull but it was worth it. Love the roosts sign...it's fabulous. Loved taking 2 out of 3 from the Rays too. Those same Rays fans were "sent out into the weeping and knashing of teeth" yesterday. Nothing like revenge.

Ravens Insider: Ayanbadejo speculates on his release from the Ravens
vmax replied to ExtremeRavens's topic in News Feeds
I'll accept his twitter response as his true thoughts and feelings. I thought this could become a hot issue and team distraction during the playoffs, but I was wrong. It wasn't. The truth is basically what he said on twitter. He's 1 year younger than Ray Lewis and it's time. The Ravens can get younger, less expensive players for special teams while they develop them for the offense or defense.
