  1. He let his own intersts seriously injure a player.
  2. Wow!....
  3. I missed on the Skins game. The Shannahans have ruined RG3 in one year. He'll be a cripple after 2.
  4. We could if you put the curse on the Broncothe Ravens have to do better on 3rd down...offense and defense. The lost time of possesion 37-22. The Broncos D and offense are very good on 3rd down.
  5. He comes out of a tunnel... Engages in 60 minutes of mayhem.... And then goes back into the tunnel with his bodyguard for the final time at M&T...
  6. I'll start it off with just a few.... Great game Cary Williams, Jacoby Jones, Kruger, Pierce, Joe and Anquan Boldin. Williams: 10 tackles and that huge interception. Jones is just electrifying to watch. I sit in the endzone and watching him pace back and forth before the kick or punt makes the hair on your neck stand up (if you have hair there... ). We see the lanes open up (and they are small) but watching Jones pick his victims who he's about to fake out is pure football excitement. Kruger...you got your own thread...settle for that.... Pierce....your heart and will is better than the defenders. Damn! What a great find for Ozzie. Joe...nice game...you'd have 14 more points if Rice doesn't fumble and Doss hangs on to a couple of passes. No turnovers...huge. See....Joe can show some emotion... Boldin....is he unreal! Big time players step up in big time games and he was not going to be denied. 5 catches for a new Ravens record 145 yards and one incredible TD catch. What's with you in the playoffs Ray? Sprained ankle and all...Leach took them on and pushed his way into the endzone.
  7. Great game and fantastic career. You are the best defensive player ever and today was a day I won't forget. Today was...magical and memorable. The only memorable experience I have to compare it too was the night Ripkin broke Gerrigs record. Loved him being on the field for the final kneel down and then his victory lap.
  8. He's not Michael McCrary yet, but he's getting there. He's been on fire, getting better each week and was a big factor in todays win. When he wasn't sacking Luck, he was hitting him, in his face and chasing him out of the pocket. It sucks that he will be a free agent. The Ravens need him.
  9. Wherever Ray goes there's 50 cameras on him. Crowds on fire!
  10. The only Colts jerseys here have Unitas on them. Looking for varav and spen. I'm GEEKED!
  11. From Stan the Fan... One more...
  12. Well...if you want to compare him to "Bad Joe" then yea...they have some simularities. Schaub has 1 TD in his last 5 games...that is really bad. With everything on the line, he could not "comeback" or get the job done, so they are a road team instead of a #1 seed. Schaub has to have that running game going and then he's very efficient.
  13. They get their fans hopes up by making it sound like Kelly will sign with them.. but wait....he's wondering if he wants to go to the Elephant's Graveyard of HC's... No shit. I'm sure that took a lot of thought and deliberation. More scraping the bottom of the barell.
  14. I turned the Packer game off at halftime...it was crappy. One thought after these first two games: You have to have a QB who can make plays and move the ball down the field if you want to get to the Super Bowl. Not a novel thought....everybody's been saying that fror years...but to get past Manning and Brady if you don't have that QB, then you have no shot. The Bengals don't have that QB. Houston doesn't either. Houston is not built to come from behind. They struggle in the redzone. 19 points won't get the job done. Now it comes down to Joe. Is he the kind of QB who can go toe to toe with Manning and Brady? He did in last years playoff loss and this years win over the Pats. He didn't get the job done against Manning this year. He has to get past Luck and the Colts today to answer that question....but...with Joe the Ravens have a shot unlike Dalton and Schaub.
  15. The Bengals need a QB..... The Bengal D kept them in the game playing tight in the redzone and getting that pick 6. They lost because they couldn't get off the field by giving up 420 yards and letting Houston go 8 for 17 on 3rd down. Huge time of possesion advantage to Houston...39 minutes to 21. That happened because the Bengal offense went 0 for 9 on 3rd down.
  16. This is going to be one great game for the fans....
  17. Bengals/Texans: Here's a battle of 2 teams who can't win in the playoffs. Both QB's are struggling coming into this game. Schaub has 1 TD in his last 4 games. 1! Dalton has 5 picks in his last 5 games. Both should continue to struggle in this game so it will come down to who can run the ball, avoid the costly turnover and make a few big plays. The Texans are struggling in the redzone. If the Bengal D can play good redzone D and continue to bail out their offense with turnovers then they have a shot. After watching the Ravens second and 3rd unit players handle the Bengals, I'm giving the edge to Houston at home with Foster and home field being the difference. Packers/Vikings: I'm feeling an upset here. If the weathers bad...and it looks like it, then this will favor the Vikings because they can run like crazy with Peterson. The Pack were knocked out in round 1 last year and they still have that taste in their mouth. They will be focused this game. It took a career game for Ponder and an incredilbe, inspiring run at the single season rushing record by Peterson for the Vikings to win last week. I don't see Ponder playing that well again. I'll take the Packers at home. Ravens/Colts: They run out of luck in Baltimore. 8 of the Colts wins were against some ragged ugly teams. The Colts can't stop the run and the Ravens running game is on fire. The return of Ray Lewis and an out of their mind home crowd will be a brick wall that they can't overcome. They've never played in a situation like this....the Ravens are used to it....banged up as they are. Ravens all the way. Seahawks/Indigenous Persons: I want to stick with the Home Team Winning theme in this toss up. All of Seatlle's losses are on the road. They have the defense to keep them in this game and maybe eek out a win but Morris is the difference in this game...not the QB's. I see a win for the Indigenous Persons, who are slowly waking up, dumb as they are, to the fact that they need to change their name. Warriors! Hello! Washington Warriors! That's a good one!
  18. Shannon Sharpe, Sam Adams, Goose, McCrary, Boulware, McAllister, Woodson, Jamal Lewis, Mason, Heap, Jermaine Lewis, Sam Gash, Leach, Rice, Ngata, Ogden, Suggs, Reed, Stover,...it's a long list of great players we have been able to watch play for the Ravens. I say that we have been damn fortunate. It's a huge list for the Baltimore Colts. It gets smaller for the Baltimore Stallions....
  19. Those long incompletions were drive killers. It kept the Ravens in 2nd and long, 3rd and long. It stopped the no huddle offense which is a liability if you can't move the chains because it puts the defense right back onto the field. It killed rythmn and momentum.
  20. 3rd down will be the key. The Ravens offense has to convert and the D has top get off the field. Easy to say that.... The stakes and intensity ratches up. Conservative won't get it done. To win, teams have to attack and be aggressive. That doesn't mean the Ravens have to throw like crazy. Pounding Rice and Pierce, physically wearing down the defense, is aggressive. Also...the Ravens receivers have to aggressively go after the ball, concentrate and make the play. They did that against the Giants. Keep the chains moving. 1. win the field position battle. 2. get in field goal range. 3. after that, score touchdowns. The 7's carry a lot of weight in the playoffs.
  21. Ray informed the front office of his decision to retire before this season. He's been working on a deal with ESPN this season. For those who think he'll waffle like Favre they are wrong. He had his mind made up long ago.
  22. Joe's the Man! He's got all time record stats...but the respect is slow in comming. If he played anywhere else...Tenneessee, Cincinatti, Green Bay, Dallas, Washington, San Fransisco.... and had those same stats then the media would be kissing his ass.
  23. We knew this day was comming. Actually the timing is perfect. What a priviledge to watch the Best Defensive Player Ever for 17 years. We have seen so many Great NFL players in Baltimore...not just very good or excellent, but GREAT. It's going to be insane at M&T Sunday...INSANE!
  24. Luck won't be able to think Sunday because it will be so loud. He should settle for a Ray Lewis autograph and go home.
