Regular season is over in 2 weeks. I'm with you cleetz. I hear a lot of fans pulling for the Yanks so we can get a home playoff game. I'm pulling for Oakland...I think they can win the Division.

Perhaps polishing up on the tackling will help...

Rossbergs off my hot seat for a week. Special Teams was good. The Ravens need to consistently win that phase of the game.

It's Sunday night for the Jones brothers... I don't know why....I expect the Ravens to win. Feeling good about this. They are not happy with their recent performance and they don't lose at home.

It doesn't say much for the coaches in general. They could have bunched the receivers up or had Boldin in motion. On defense, Peas could have told his guys to mug just like Philly because the Refs weren't calling it.

Philly figured out how to rotate players because the Ravens take too long to get set at the LOS. Even 5 seconds quicker and they can't substitute. No need to abandon this...just don't abandon Ray Rice and the running game. You can run as well out of this offense as you can using a huddle. It does not effect the ability to run. Joe and Cam do. Ray Rice and the O line need to give those 2 an earfull. Why is Leach here if we can't they can"t pound it on 3rd and 2? I call it chickenshit football!!!! This is for the 3rd quarter alone: 3rd and 2...the Ravens have the ball for the first drive of the 3rd quarter up 17-7...interception! Target? Pita with 57 guys on him. 3rd and 2...pass incomplete...punt 3rd and 1...at the 50...pass incomplete...punt. Then there was 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 at the 46 to end the game...both incomplete passes. Why was Pita targeted 15 times!!!!? That's the same number of passes thrown at Boldin, Smith, and Jones combined.

The Muddle offense was a muddle in the second half. Cam and Joe think it's designed for throwing. The Ravens ran the ball only 33% of their plays. Therefore they ignored the most productive aspect of their game Sunday. They lost time of possession and gave Vick 10 more plays to beat them. 486 yards of offense could have been whittled down and the Ravens might have left with the win. The Muddle is supposed to have the opposite effect where the offense gets to run more plays. You need a defense that can get off the field on 3rd downs to work in tandum to achieve that objective. Didn't happen. They got murdered on 3rd and long. The secondary had a ton of communication break downs. Special Teams had a very good game. Turnovers. With the Eagles turning the ball over so much, this was another sign to play more cerebral, run the ball, and protect the rock. The object is to win the game....not score fantasy points. Instead the Ravens kept throwing and returned the favor. Something was wrong with Joe in the second half. Cam needs to see when his accuracy is falling off and go to Rice to help him out. This is starting off like last season when the team struggled to find their identity. It will take a few weeks for this to happen.
