Inactives: Kindle, Evans, Grubbs, LaVoir, Foxworth, Jimmy Smith Looks like we see Giroude....and LaQuan Williams, Doss and Tory Smith. Should be fun. GO RAVENS!!!!!!!
This is one of 3 keys to the game. The Ravens will halt the Rams running game and force Bradford to beat them with his arm. They face another "Hasselbeck" situation only Bradford is younger and less experienced. With the thinning situation at corner and the pass rush issues it could be another long day for the Ravens. Key 2. The defense has to get off the field on 3rd down. The pass kills them. Key 3. The offense has to make 3rd downs. The offense stalled last week and the Rams D really disguises coverages and blitzes well. Joe has to find and complete passes to his new targets to keep the D honest. "Guys like me have to make an impact" Ravens Total Offense – 307.5 (25) Rush Offense – 107.5 (12t) Pass Offense – 199.5 (25t) Point Per Game – 24.0 (15) Total Defense – 372.0 (22) Rush Defense – 70.0 (4) Pass Defense – 302.0 (28) Point Per Game – 16.5 (5) Rams Total Offense – 351.0 (18) Rush Offense – 106.5 (14) Pass Offense – 244.5 (14t) Point Per Game – 14.5 (28) Total Defense – 351.5 (20) Rush Defense – 177.5 (32) Pass Defense – 174.0 (4t) Points Per Game – 29.5 (28)
This article is worth reading. It's scary and depressing to me because it's true. I have kids who will have to deal with this their whole lives. This and failing economies world wide. I do think things can change for the better, but only if people wake up now and the entire planet joins forces and mobilizes to solve this very real and life threatening problem. The more time we waste in denial and senseless debate will exponentially increase the amount of devestation and worldwide suffering...and we will not be immune here in America. We will go down with everybody else. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/44654935/ns/us_news-environment/
That would explain why the Ravens don't have a receiver in the top 40 and the passing offense is 25th in a record breaking first 2 weeks of the season.
Joe and Cam need to sit alone in a room for 60 minutes and listen to a continuous loop of Herm Edwards saying "YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!" By the 4th quarter last Sunday Cam should have known they were going to lose that game. He should have took the bull by the horns. He could see Evans had no impact and was in fact hurting the teams chances in the passing game...so sit Evans and bring in Smith and Doss...and friggn'n throw to them and see what they do. Worst case they flop and the Ravens lose a game that was lost....but they see what they have and learn something...and the rookies learn with valuable experience. And Yea...UP THE FRIGGN'N TEMPO! The games lost anyway. Shit why not go all the way and let Joe totally run the offense in that 4th quarter...see what he does on his own...because THE GAME WAS LOST ANYWAY! If they have to lose a game to see what this offense can do, than do it. Then make the adjustments.
"It probably was his good, close friends, who were looking out for his best interests, who advised him to this investment plan to increase his wealth tenfold."
It seems Baltimore ranks high...in all the wrong catagories. So your eyes burn...you have a headache by 2pm...it's your fault because you've been warned not to go outside...warned not to breathe.
Until the Joe and Cam throw...AND COMPLETE....deeper passes....stretching the field passes...this offense will be no better than last year. That's why they drafted Tory Smith. That's why they signed Lee Evans. And they haven't been used or contributed for whatever reasons this season. Only 2 completions to a receiver other than Bouldin....this year. The Ravens are too easy to defend.
yeager! You got it. Great positive outlook....just what we needed. You get a night in the ExtremeRavens lounge... psssst! Yeager...take a look outside your window... ps: Goat of the Week goes to crav.
