Smart move or non move, Jimmy is an above average CB, with excellent size for the position. What he is making is not ludicrous considering some of the contracts handed out during free agency. What about moving Brandon Carr to safety tho.

U guys really aren’t raven fans, as soon as Lamar started starting games u people were saying as soon as there is tape the Ravens will lose. We still were winning games even after there was tape. Now you people have change the hate to they have an off season to game plan for Lamar. U people are always going to find a reason to put Lamar down even after he helped turn our season around. U wanted him to fail so badly and when he didn’t now you are wishing injury and hoping other DCs find a way to stop him. He was a rookie and sure there is room for improvement but to be so negative about a rookie Qb that went 6-2 shows all of you peoples true colors. Flacco was given year after year and excuse after excuse when he could not turn this thing around and still you would rather have him or anyone that looks like him. I really hope Lamar proves all of you fake ass Ravens fans wrong and that you have to deal with him being your black quarterback for the next 15 years. Go be a Broncos fan

I see too many Plays where he just doesn’t make the play, on the 4th and 9 , hill runs right in front of him because he is so slow, you don’t pay this guy because he is a good taclkler, he has to bring more to the team. Often times he makes the tackles downfield ,where does he rank in TFL , I don’t know but I don’t see him making any tackles for loss. We should not pay this guy

Papa you have to understand , there is an element that will never like Lamar as there starting QB. The running game is better because of the threat of Lamar, Joe will not get the same running game because the defense does not have to account for him running. Joe has bummed it up for 4 of the last 5 years and we have an element saying we want Joe , after our rookie first round QB has gone 2-0 in first two starts, simply unbelievable. Get use to it, no matter what this kid does there will be an element that will hate on him because he is black. These haters were going to hate regardless, If we had lost these last two games, the haters would be saying , look Lamar can’t even beat the Bengals or the Raiders at home, we need Joe. Btw, Marvin Lewis and the bengals has Joes number, we would have lost that game to the bengals if Joe had played. The defense gave up 21 points in over five quarters to the broncos. The broncos offense was awesome that year and only given up 21 points in over five quarters is a hell of an effort.The broncos had 2 returns for tds that was other 14 points you cant put that on the defense.and Im not saying he rode the defense Im saying Joe was not the only reason we won. The defense also only gave up 13 points to the pats. Jacoby caught a very badly under thrown bomb in the sb and took it to the house, that was all jacoby. Upshaw caused a fumble in the sb. Kruger had an important sack . It was not all Joe. U can want him in the ROH for those four games thats your prerogative, I just think he should have done more to be ROH worhty

I 100% wholeheartedly agree, Joe is given far too much credit for us winn8ng the Super Bowl and that is his only claim to fame. We don’t win if he doesn’t play great that post season, I have no problem given him his credit there, but he was not the only reason we won. If the ravens defense doesn’t hold the mighty Broncos offense to 21 points we lose. If pollard doesn’t dislodge the pats rb head from his shoulders we lose. If jacoby doesn’t run the 2nd half kickoff back in the SB we lose. There were plenty of plays made that post season by other players that if they weren’t made we would have not won the SB , but somehow Joe has gotten all the credit. Just because Joe is the best QB in ravens history, which is debatable, that’s not really saying much.

At he has a competent QB to learn from, I’m not sure exactly what Lamar is going to learn from Joe

I like all of our picks so far we needed TEs. We got two, Zeus jr is as physical and mean as they come, again he doesn’t look the part as far as physique but he plays the part. And action Jackson will be a nightmare for DCs
