  1. I usually try to see all the positives in everything but I just don't see it with this team. We are BORING to watch. It's just brutal. The team has taken on the persona of the coach and there is nothing to get excited about. When your best player on Offense was cut by another team and arrived on your practice squad after the start of the season you have to realize your doing something wrong in the draft and Free agency.
  2. I see Alonso escaped suspension. If that had been Brady he had hit it would have been a career ender ......for Alonso. Player safety, only matters when there is nothing else to talk about like taking a knee for the national anthem.
  3. 2nd and 3rd picks for McCarron? I would have screwed up the paperwork for that deal as well. Give that person a promotion and raise.
  4. Watched him yesterday. I'm not sure. He had 4 INTs yesterday and could have had about 8. Takes too many risks when trying to make a play and I didn't see enough big plays to make me feel he'll be anything better than a career backup. That said, that's a 1 game sample. I'll try and see some more of him between now and the draft.
  5. Not to mention they have us drafting another defensive player. If Ozzie is still in charge and does that Steve should fire him on the spot.
  6. Only 1 QB in the top 10! And it's Jackson. And the next QB taken is Mayfield! I wouldn't be surprised to see 3 or 4 QBs taken in the top 5 this year. What a stinker of a mock draft.
  7. He couldn’t do any worse than our current FO at picking WRs.
  8. I like Cobbs. I watched the Michigan Indiana game and he showed up big in that one as well so he is doing it against the cream of the Big 10. He seems to catch most things thrown his way and that is the type of WR we need. We haven’t had that physical presence since Boldin.
  9. I want no part of Rosen. He's a franchise killer. Million Dollar arm and 10cent personality. I love Darnold but I'm just not sure about him yet. The SC coaches have messed with his throwing motion and he is now sailing a lot of balls. He had a bit of a funky action where he dropped the throwing hand in the wind up a little but the ball was coming out fast and on target and now not so much. The kid is a leader though and is amazing with the game on the line. If we draft at a spot where there is a big time QB available then we have to take him but as we are more or less stuck with Joe through 2018 I would look to build the O-Line and receiving core in the next draft and then go all out for a QB once Joe is off the books in 2019.
  10. No excuses. This team isn’t very good. Last week was a fluke. Same old Zombie Joe and the Offense perfectly reflects his persona.
  11. That was much better. Only 1 penalty! Is that a record under Harbaugh?
  12. Yeah, and now another injury along the O-Line.
  13. This is a familiar scene. We did this last year as well. In a few games we looked really good. We got in a rhytm on offense and looked good moving the ball. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I'm not buying the turnaround until I see it for 3 or 4 games in a row.
  14. The NFL are getting what they want in parity. Only problem is, it's at the cost of quality.
  15. It’s just a shame Tucker can’t throw the ball, catch the ball, run the ball and block.
  16. I'm as white as snow and the only problem I have with what the players are doing is the discussion seems to have lost sight of the issue. It's about what the players are doing rather than the topic that started the protests in the first place. People are arguing over the perceived disrespect for the flag, national anthem and the people that serve the USA rather than the racism and profiling of minorities by the authorities. I wish I lived in a world where we all got along as equals but I can't imagine that's ever going to happen in my life time. That said, we have to try. Afterall, if you and I remain silent who will educate the ignorant.
  17. I've looked at the cap and we are stuck with what we've got for another year. There is just not enough money to do a purge this year. Now next year everyone is fair game. Joe's cap hit from being cut is manageable and some big contracts will end. Blow it all up then. I'm not sure it would be fair on a new coach to lump him with this roster plus any rookies drafted. Free agency will be a no go. Just no money available. And we keep making things worse with all these restructures we are doing! It's a really bleak outlook. The question is do we let Ozzie rebuild or usher him into retirement now. This latest rebuild has been a disaster. Do we trust him with another year or move on now. Give the new GM a head start with the next draft before the main rebuild starts in 2018? One thing I want to see changed is the way we draft and resign O-Linemen. We have spent good draft picks only to let our guys walk after 4 or 5 years. Granted those guys probably got overpaid but that's free agency for you. We need to draft them, play them and get them resigned in 3 before they have a chance to get overpaid. The other thing I want us to do is draft a new WR in the first 3 rounds for the next 5 years. Surely we will hit on 2 or 3 in that period. Our record has been poor at best but maybe a new GM can change the way we draft/scout WRs. With the way the cap is I'm not convinced we take a QB early next draft unless a can't miss prospect is there. I'd rather draft O-Linemen this draft and have the protection there with a year under their belt for a rookie in 2019 under a new coaching staff.
  18. There are numerous hotels right beside the stadium negating the need for a bus journey. I'm sure they could have arranged for practice time at Wembley and there are numerous sporting facilities within easy reach of Wembley if they couldn't fulfil the practice time required. John needs to learn the 7 Ps. Proper Planning and Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance. In this case, you can't blame lack of knowledge. The NFL has been coming to London for 10 years. Lift the phone and ask some teams what they have done in the past. It's hardly rocket science. The Ravens clearly didn't want to be there. They were there out of an obligation to the NFL and now after that performance the NFL will not want the Ravens back in London anytime soon. They won't want to risk a repeat of that showing. It's the first time I have seen the stadium emptying with half the 4th quarter to go in any NFL London game. Just a total embarassment and the NFL won't want that to happen ever again. The only good thing to come out of this for the NFL is the Jaguars continue to prove they can become the London Jaguars.
  19. My guess is they used this as another bye week. Have a little weekend break, don't stay long enough to suffer jet lag and be back into work on Monday morning fresh and ready to go. Just wish I had been in on it and saved my money for a trip to Baltimore. That would be cheaper for me than a trip to London
  20. At this point I would cut everyone on offence including the coaches. Maybe keep The LT and just start from scratch. Take the pain for a year. Draft only O players and just rebuild from the Line out. We haven't had a good O since 96 so we need a completely fresh start. I don't have my laptop with me so don't know the salary cap implications but the whole thing needs blown up. Anyone related to this O must go.
  21. It was pretty bad but at least we had a TD to celebrate. Us Ravens fans that were left were dancing in the stands.
  22. Breaking news. Biscuit locks Harbaugh in the London Dungeons. Tells him he's not welcome back in Baltimore.
  23. Do we get a point for getting into Jags territory? If so, that's our first point!
  24. Great tackle Joe. Maybe we can get our $20million worth by playing him on D!
  25. Yes, penalty has been are best play so far. Go penalty!
