Robjr83 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 To have an effective offense Oz has to invest on offense in the draft. In recent years how many of our 1-3rd round picks have been offensive.... Joe, Ray, Torrey, Pierce, Reid, Ed Dickson, and KO... thats about it. 1 Quote
oldno82 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 When was our last effective OC...I mean, really?Unless you count last year's playoff run the answer is: Never. 1 Quote
GrubberRaven Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Unless Caldwell, get fired...he's not going anywhere. If Detroit or DC wanted him, he'd be gone. Pa-friggen-thetic. Quote
tsylvester Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Unless you count last year's playoff run the answer is: Never. Not exactly, when the Ravens first came here they had a top five offense, the reason for the losses was the defense giving up more than 35 per game. They sure could sling the ball, but Art had no money and they had to let two great receivers walk.......... Quote

thundercleetz Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I will say this: Flacco's best year by far was when Jim Zorn was his QB coach. Cam was the OC but Zorn kept on Joe's mechanics consistently. Joe liked Zorn a lot too. Zorn was a tall QB in the NFL as well so he knew what Joe goes through. I wouldn't mind having Zorn back... cravnravn Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 True. So I guess it's been since 2000.Before that, 96 & 97 when we had Jackson & whatshisname, but it think it's deeper then that it was Ted Marchabroda. Let's not forget he was th OC for the Bills when they went to 4 straight Super Bowls. Quote
