oldno82 Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 How have you made an evaluation of these rookies when they haven't played yet?Haven't you? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I looked at the skill sets and have projected. I am also not one of the people who gives up on a rookie when he doesn't pan out after a game. Now I see people talking Wagner. You posted an article on him. I was talking him before the draft. I was saying he looked like he might be the RT. But I see the world is ending from people around here when I said it because they need a top rookie or a major FA to fill that spot. Just looks like weak sauce what is going on at this particular moment. Quote
RavenMad Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I can't think of a time when he threw a WR open. That's just it Papa. It's a matter of perspective. We have given you examples of many times when Joe threw Boldin open. You claim he just chucked it up and let Boldin make the play. It's a case of one man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist. I think we will just have to agree to disagree. Quote
cravnravn Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I gave two examples in the Denver game where he threw Torrey & JJ open..HT8Rs with blinders is all I say 1 Quote
papasmurfbell Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Sry Crav but 9 routes are not throwing guys open. You throw guys open on short routes. RM when a WR has to be Robin to catch the ball the QB didn't throw it well. Quote
cravnravn Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Bottom line he trhrew them open, and they were both successful Quote
papasmurfbell Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 No he chucked a ball. I can chuck a ball. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I looked at it a couple weeks ago. It was a post route. Quote

And for that matter, this year if we had cut Joe loose after the 2012 season? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I would have had Taylor be bad for 2013. I would have th erookie play if he were ready or Taylor suck again this yr and have another solid pick in 2015. Quote

papasmurfbell Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Yep. If they had picked smartly over the last decade they would be monster but they have wasted their picks over and over. Finally this season they had a draft that used reason and logic. Quote

I would have th erookie play if he were ready or Taylor suck again this yr and have another solid pick in 2015. That has to be the worst option I have ever read. Let me get this right. You would want us to suck to get a better pick in the draft? Fuck off to a Browns board where you belong. I'm sure you will fit right in with those looneys. 2 Quote
papasmurfbell Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 No. Why would I want to go to a browns board? They lost last yr anyway. They were going to have major turnover. Grasping that embrace the suck as it is and go all in for the best pick. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Let me be more specific. The Ravens lost anyways. Way to much turnover to fast to be effective last yr. If that is the case then do the full turnover and eat the yr. Again embrace the suck. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 This isn't fantasy football. And by the way, I really haven't been as impressed with the 2014 class like you are.
