NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport broke the news Wednesday that the NFL has suspended theCleveland Browns wide receiver for one season for violating the league's substance-abuse policy, according to a source. NFL Media's Albert Breer reports that there is no avenue for reinstatement, according to two sources.

One calendar year so he is going to miss all the mini camps and basically all the preseason next year as well and will still be facing another suspension then for the DUI

He should get two now that his remarks came out. He is disappointed in the NFl for not "exercising better discretion & judgement"? Is he for real? Get help son, seriously....

Pot is anot really a drug one gets hooked on, though it is possible. It is the life style. He wasn't suspended for a year simply because he failed another test. He was given the full amount, had it not reduced because of his attitude, his inability to take responsibilty for what he did, for his poor choices.

 

Even if this was second hand smoke, he still, once again, showed poor descetion by beig around people, in a car no less, who were doing something that could get him not just suspended, but arrested. HIs remarks afterward show it clearly, he thinks he can do no wrong. Add in his choice to drink & drive, AFTER this incident, just proves it more; his issue isn't drugs, his issue is pride.
