Tornado700 Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Understandable. I would hope that Coach rests Torrey and Justin Forsett this game. Let them fully heal and be ready for Houston. Quote
oldno82 Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Absolutely agree about Torrey and Forsett. Maybe Jacoby can shake off his dropsies and sub for Smith. Quote
cravnravn Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Absolutely not, if we had a playoff spot sewed up then yes, but we on the outside looking in. And you know how the ravens, and I don't care what year make a habit of making bad teams look good. Quote
varaven45 Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Crav, Spot on. I ve watched the Jags and you CANT sleep on them nor do you have the luxury of resting players. You get into beast mode. Quote
cravnravn Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 You run the score up on the Jags, and send a message to Houston and Cleveland that we ain't playing around. Quote
Tornado700 Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 Wrong Crave. With or without Torrey and Justin, we will beat Jax. Our D and Joe will see to that. Why take a chance on hurting them more when it's not necessary, and it is not necessary. Forsett is our premier back and Torrey is our best receiver. We need them for the playoffs, which we WILL be in. I hope Harbaugh does the right thing. Quote
Tornado700 Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 One other thing, if Harbaugh finds himself in a close game at halftime or the 3rd quarter, then you do what has to be done to win. If the Ravens build a commanding lead, which I think we do, rest both of them. Quote

cravnravn Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 4 the qtr if we are up by 23 or more then by all means take all the starters out, but until that point comes we keep doing what we do. Quote

varaven45 Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 I wonder if we're looking at one of those mini surgical procedures for Tori and he's out for two or three weeks. Sounds suspicious to me. Quote

vmax Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Fox is not on the Ravens bandwagon.... Launching Point BOLD PREDICTION #1: Jaguars rookie Blake Bortles will post the first three-TD outing of his careerREASONS TO BELIEVE: 1) The Ravens (Jacksonville's Sunday foe) own the NFL's 29th-ranked pass defense, allowing 276 yards per game.2) The Jaguars have their full complement of pass-catchers healthy for Week 15.3) Bortles has already tossed 30-plus balls nine times.4) Since Week 9, Bortles has a cumulative completion rate of 59 percent.5) Jacksonville's rushing attack ranks among the league's worst.6) The strong-armed Bortles (multiple TDs for Weeks 3/9) is due for a transcendent rookie breakout. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/a-look-at-bold-predictions-for-nfl-week-15/ss-BBgCyuj?ocid=iehp#image=2 If this happens.... papasmurfbell Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Well they have proven to me not to be legit on 1 of their facts. Allan Robinson went on IR last month. He was their best WR. Also Denard Robinson is out. Quote
cravnravn Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Jags just put their leading rusher on IR, screw FOX and their hatred, doesn't preston pretend to write for fox? Quote

thundercleetz Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 No way Forsett rests, he will want vindication on the Jags for cutting him earlier this year. As far as Torrey, with him being gimpy, the question is: do you use an active roster spot to have him as a decoy? I believe it worked last week, but I'm not sure if it works two weeks in a row. Quote
