vmax Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 He's cut.......and that "Do you know what happened last time a Ravens player got a DUI. I'm getting cut tomorrow." statement is good PR for the Ravens. It shows they warned players. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 Or I am reading it as he was told he was being cut and threw himself a pitty party and got caught. Quote

TBird Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 The JAGs signed Pierce so there was still a market for him, atleast in JAX. They were short a RB. All he needs now is a good lawyer but he's excited to go thereand said God works in strange and mysterious ways. He isthankful. BTW, Ravens announced they're bringing in Mel Gordon for asecond interview. With a spot open and Forsett being old, theymight draft him. At least they're interested. He'd be a good fit for Ravens system and they could even breakhim in slowly and put him in spots. Quote

TBird Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 It could also be a ploy to get people to thinking they want him butall teams bring a certain amount of players in to interview. Theycan't draft all the guys they're bringing in. At the combines theyinterviewed over 31 players, more than any other team. That said, this time last year they didn't bring in Zach Martin whom mostof the fans wanted tointerview because they didn't want him and wanted to go withRicky Wagner. Ravens saw Zach as a RG anyway which is wherehe played in Dallas as we had Yanda who with Wagner formedthe best right side of an oline in NFL according to footballoutsiders. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 23, 2015 Author Posted March 23, 2015 I was saying its a ploy. Push him up so your guy drops down to you. Quote
