TBird Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 He has a ton of interceptions including the one he threw vs us in OTthat went for the winning score - 36 INTs to be exact. Jets were also interested in him but we use Kube's system andterminology so he'll fit in. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/ Quote
cravnravn Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 I'd rather have Kyle Boller then pick-6 Shaubb Quote

vmax Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 (edited) OK.....He's better than Wenning....but not by much.Nothing's changed....Joe has to stay healthy for another year. Keep the streak going Joe.... Joe Flacco has never missed a start since joining the Ravens in 2008. His 112 consecutive starts is the third-longest current streak and the sixth longest in NFL history. Joe keeps setting all these records....quietly. Edited March 31, 2015 by vmax Quote
TBird Posted March 31, 2015 Author Posted March 31, 2015 We're screwed no matter who the backup is if Joe goes downfor a while. Most teams are. Quote
ForceEight Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 As far as I'm concerned, Schaub is the best backup Flacco's ever had. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Kyle Boller??? Surely you jest! No he has a short term revisionist memory. Quote
rastaman831226 Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I'm glad we got him. He knows the system. He might know the system but he's still a shot QB and you don't give 2 mill to a shot QB. Quote

papasmurfbell Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I'd have to put Bulger first, then Schaub. In that Bulger has been retired since 2010 that was not an option. Quote
Tornado700 Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 No jest, Shaubb couldn't qb northern high to a winRight Crave. He's only thrown 25,000 yards in his career. Yeah, he's a bum. Seriously, let's get serious. Schaub is a great pick up for the Ravens. A perfect back up- should Joe get sidelined. Quote

Schaub is a great pick up for the Ravens. A perfect back up- should Joe get sidelined. He was an INT machine in 2013, and let's face it he couldn't land the starting job in Oakland last season. Just glad January Joe is made of titanium. And how is his stats from the past two seasons justify A 2 million dollar paycheck? I don't know what we were paying Tyrod but I would of kept him, he's been here a few years and knows the personnel. We didn't see Denver through the carrots shaubs way did we? If any team needs a two million dollar backup its them. Edited April 1, 2015 by cravnravn Quote
RavenMad Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Isn't Tyrod getting $3+mill a season in Buffalo? Quote
cravnravn Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 (edited) Isn't Tyrod getting $3+mill a season in Buffalo?I really couldn't tell you, once they leave the nest, I don't care about them. And if be is getting 3 mil, then shame on the Bills. Edited April 1, 2015 by cravnravn Quote
Robjr83 Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Tyrod's got a 3 year deal worth 3.3 mil with 1 min guaranteed. Schaub got a 1 year 2mil deal no guarantee. We're paying MORE for Schaub. He left to get possible playing time which no one can blame him. My guess is they cut Schaub later and try to get the vet min for him later. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/tyrod-taylor/ Year Base Salary Signing Bonus Cap Hit Dead Cap 2015 $750,000 $133,333 $883,333 $1,150,000 2016 $1,000,000 $133,333 $1,133,333 $266,668 2017 $1,200,000 $133,334 $1,333,334 $133,334 EDIT: Apparently Schaub is a 1mil base 1mil guarantee Quote

oldno82 Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Since it's not guaranteed, if he sucks in the pre-season (I don't think he will) we can just cut him with no cap or financial loss at that point. Quote
