RavensFanNC Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 We kinda get screwed the first 6 weeks of the season with 4 away games, and 3 of the first 4 away. I like the week 8 bye though. Hopefully Jen is serving his suspension when we play them, and we get the mighty Byron Leftwich. Quote
REEDPIXOFF Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Tough December and I hate the Thursday games but overall it looks good. Jets w/o HolmesSqueelers w/o Ben?Pats w/o Welker? Quote
colincac Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 12th hardest in the league, not too bad. Potentially nice scheduling for us since we are getting the Jets without Holmes and perhaps the Steelers sans Big Ben.... Not a fan of 3 away prime-time games, also not liking New Orleans on a short week. Quote
vmax Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 First glance/initial thoughts... I love opening against the Jets on MNF even if it is away. That's 'respect' IMO...meaning the league sees the marketability of the "Ravens North" vs the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens get to beat them in their new stadium. "Hey!" 4 out of the first 6 games on the road????Well...that's offset by 4 of the last 6 at home. 4 Prime Time games...don't like Sunday night but it's the Steelers and it's on our turf...can't wait to "Boo" and pile it on Worthelessbrgrrr. Love getting the Saints here in December. End the regular season by knocking the Bengals out of the playoffs...sweet! Quote
deeshopper Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 At first glance, that looks like a boring home schedule for fans. The only team I'd be interested in seeing are the Saints. Quote
vmax Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Is this the year they finally beat the Panthers? Oh...Ravens go 11-5... Quote
millz58 Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 We kinda get screwed the first 6 weeks of the season with 4 away games, and 3 of the first 4 away. I like the week 8 bye though.Agreed, and those 4 away games are against (probable) AFC playoff teams. But even if Big Ben is playing week 4, he'll certainly not be in game shape by that point. Having the bye-week mid season is cool, so is the continuous string of 1PM games after the opener, leading to and just after the bye. Don't know if I like 3 straight v. NFC south, and I am getting weary of seeing our divisional games clustered together. I really like having the bye week sandwiched b/w home games v. Buffalo and Miami, we might really need those as (likely?) wins. Quote
cravnravn Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 This schedule has 14-2 written ALL OVER IT!! Jets Fans think they hit paydirt with Crom, LT and Holmes..Well Crom is the reason they made it to the AFCC Game, Raven Killa Holmes will be out when we meet. Jen will be sidelined (Wouldnt matter though, Joe has weapons now) If we are not 7-0 at the Bye, Harbs should be fired. Quote

RavenMad Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 The start of the schedule is hateful. Away to the Jets on Monday night isn't too bad but then facing a divisional foe on the road on a short week. They could have at least moved the Bengals game to a Sunday night game or given us a home game instead. Quote
cravnravn Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Come on what OTR? Barring any significant injury, this team could run the schedule.. Quote
ForceEight Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 *** I'm stupid for thinking this game is easy *** Quote

We should go 16-0 and the Dolphin faithful should be shaking in their boots right now.Im ordering playoff and SB tickets right now !!! GO RAVENS !! Quote
Guest BallTMore Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Opening up against the Jets is going to be tough. New stadium, new players, Monday night. Their fans will be pumped! Boldin will be on Revis island, so I think it's safe to assume that his Raven debut will be less that spectacular. We get to follow the Jets game up with a tough trip to Cincinnati. A team that had our number last year, and will most likely be improved this season. Quote
