tsylvester
Good move, nothing to lose, everything to gain.
vmax
Insurance, if he passes the physical. They needed a policy.Good signing, but he's just a back up this point in his career.
oldno82
tsyl is right. Nothing to lose. I really doubt we see this guy running with the first stringers. Man, back to back years of a torn ACL...makes Perriman look healthy.
varaven45
Good depth signing. Nothing more, nothing less.
tsylvester
Hold the phone! He refused to sign the injury waiver the team wanted, thus he is a free agent....

Robjr83
I'm sorry did Peter the terrible by the team?
papasmurfbell
It was a good move to let him go. With his injury history you have to be careful.
tsylvester
I disagree. He was a back up, quality back up at that with great experience. That money, even if he got hurt was not going to hurt the cap.
papasmurfbell
I have yet to see the value of the deal.

papasmurfbell
Then how do you know that it wouldn't hurt the cap?
tsylvester
Then how do you know that it wouldn't hurt the cap?I know the cap and the team's cap, you know this old buddy... Sure, maybe he takes the place of a younger, healthier tackle/ guard who would out perform him, but the odds are not in favor of that option. papasmurfbell
The OT they drafted I believe in the 4th might have been that option and all I have read is they expect him to start one day. But again how do you know his deal would not have effected the cap since it was never put out?
