cravnravn Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 now to the fucking haters that counted this game as a loss already...Fuck you Quote
vmax Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 The Ravens fans were great today.Stealer fans??? I found them to be a very humble....a silent lot. The blocked punt, scoop for a TD and the 2 point conversion was everything. Otherwise it's a 14-13 Ravens loss. the Truth.... BALTIMORE -- Like most Americans, the Baltimore Ravens turned back the clock on Sunday. But the Ravens went all the way back a decade.Baltimore jumped into a first-place tie with the rival Pittsburgh Steelers by going back to its old-school roots, relying on strong defense and timely special teams in a 21-14 victory. It was sort of nostalgic that the Ravens beat their biggest rival for a franchise-record fourth straight time in this fashion. How dominant was the Ravens' defense? The Steelers didn't cross midfield or score their first points until the fourth quarter. Baltimore continually frustrated a less-than-full-strength Ben Roethlisberger, holding Pittsburgh to 277 total yards and 4-for-16 on third downs. How clutch were the Ravens' special teams? Baltimore received two long field goals (49 and 42 yards) from kicker Justin Tucker on a windy day as well as a blocked punt that was returned by rookie Chris Moore for a touchdown. How awful was Baltimore's offense? The Ravens and an inaccurate Flacco managed one touchdown, a 95-yard catch by Mike Wallace in the first quarter that represented more than one-third of their total yards. This resembled the days of Trent Dilfer and Kyle Boller, when Baltimore won in spite of its offense. The Ravens became the first team in nine years to shut out the Steelers in the first three quarters, according to ESPN Stats & Information. Baltimore held Pittsburgh to three or fewer plays on 10 drives Sunday (only one other team managed that same level of futility). This is how you have to win when the Ravens' offense gets 42 yards and two first downs in the second half...http://www.espn.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/31369/ravens-turn-back-the-clock-to-jump-into-first-place-in-afc-north Quote
cravnravn Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 takes 3 parts to wain a championship. We had it today:Joe to Wallace-TdSpecial Teams- TDDefense was good, if they could catch this game wouldn't have been close Quote
vmax Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Yea crav. If you can play great D and special teams then all it takes is 1 or 2 big plays from the O.But they have only done this for 1 game...in a few years. Quote
ravinmaniac52 Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 ain't the beer cold......and I don't even drink Quote
52isUnstoppable Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 The entire defense should be on the Juggs machine. These guys have hands of stone. Great performance yesterday from the defense right up until the PeasVent defense came in and tried to blow another late lead. I'll take that win any day for the simple bragging rights to say we have won 6 of the past 7 games against them Quote

cravnravn Posted November 7, 2016 Author Posted November 7, 2016 Sure why not, there's only one team that is playing lights out and that's new England, get to the dance anything can happen. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 The team that beat them weak 4? KC and Den would beat them. Dallas will week 11. Also the Falcons would. The Ravens snuggle in with the rest of the garbage of the NFL. Quote
varaven45 Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Yep. In the watered down nature of things, the NFL sorta resembles college football where a 5 win team can play in a bowl game. Granted, a 5 win team won't win the BCS, but the little sisters of the poor are now playing in college bowl games. Its crazy Quote
papasmurfbell Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Yep. The practice rules and the rule changes are destroying the league. Quote

vmax Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 The Heat is on.... The pressure in on to win the AFC North because it's looking like only one team from the division is going to reach the playoffs. If the season ended today, both wild cards would come out of a loaded AFC West, which includes Kansas City (7-2), Oakland (7-2) and Denver (7-3)....http://www.espn.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/31609/cowboy-up-ravens-alone-in-first-place-in-november-for-first-time-since-2012 Quote
