vmax Posted November 2, 2021 Author Posted November 2, 2021 Head Coach John Harbaugh said wide receiver Sammy Watkins (hamstring), running back Latavius Murray (ankle) and tight end Nick Boyle (knee) all "have a chance" to return against Minnesota. Defensive lineman Derek Wolfe (back) could also return after resuming practice last week. Watkins has missed the last three games, Murray missed the Week 7 loss against the Cincinnati Bengals, while Boyle has been out all season. "They all have a chance," Harbaugh said. papasmurfbell Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 I never liked the signing bc he is always hurt. His rookie yr is the only one he has ever made it to all 16. He averages 12 games per yr. That is not good. Quote

Nope, not even worth a sniff. Motivation was never his problem, understanding the game was. Now that his speed/quickness is gone he can't cover that up Quote
vmax Posted November 2, 2021 Author Posted November 2, 2021 (edited) Cornerback Chris Westry has been activated to return to practice Tuesday, kicking off a 21-day window for him to practice before needing to be activated to the 53-man roster. Westry suffered a knee injury in the Ravens' Week 1 opener in Las Vegas and has missed the past six games. The 6-foot-4, 199-pound cornerback was a training camp and preseason standout.Ravens Activate Chris Westry to Return to Practice (baltimoreravens.com) Orlando Brown did not look good last night. Villanueva has blown 15 blown blocks in 266 pass blocking snaps this season. Orlando Brown Jr., by contrast, has 16 blown blocks in 332 pass-blocking snaps for the Kansas City Chiefs this season. He was not worth the money to keep him. Some interesting stats on the Ravens from a good article in the Sun....... Quote 1,253: Tight end Mark Andrews is on pace to finish the season with 1,253 receiving yards, which would shatter Todd Heap’s single-season mark (855) for a Ravens tight end. Even in a 16-game season, Andrews would be on pace for 1,179 yards. 100%: Rookie wide receiver Rashod Bateman has seven catches over his first two games — and seven first downs. 22 stats that have defined the Ravens’ season, from Lamar Jackson’s deep throws to Odafe Oweh’s fast start - Baltimore Sun Edited November 2, 2021 by vmax Quote
papasmurfbell Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 Zues is a right tackle. At some point he will realize this and slide to his natural position. Quote
oldno82 Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 He definitely looked uncomfortable playing left tackle the other night. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 He has some of the hindrances his father had but not as glaring. He can make a lot of money just settling in and being a top 3 RT in this league. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 Also he needs to be in the right system that accentuates the size and power but hides the foot quickness. A run first road grading system like Tenn has or here. I think Dallas has transitioned away from where he can shine. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 Wonder if he would come back, if the money was right. Quote

I have a feeling it will be Baker in Cle. The market will dictate the value but he will feel demeaned to take it from a team that told him how much he is worth. Quote

oldno82 Posted November 4, 2021 Posted November 4, 2021 Lamar is taking too many punches---hard ones too. We need to somehow protect him better and revive the running attack with the running backs. He won't be able to do it all without getting hurt. He's been carrying the whole offense on his back. Quote
tsylvester Posted November 4, 2021 Posted November 4, 2021 Boyle coming back will help with the running game. He is the best tight end blocker, good for one penalty a game, but he has been a piece missed from the running game. Westerly, if he can play, will really help the defense, big, fast, good instincts. He can help shut down Diggs if he plays. Quote
