colincac Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 http://blogs.baltimoreravens.com/2011/08/15/reed-passes-physical-comes-off-pup/ Don't sleep on this guy. I remember reading all last season how much Harbaugh loved him but he realistically wasn't going to get any PT at WR with 4 veterans (Mase/Boldin/House/Stallworth) above him. Led the league in average Kick Return so even if he can't win the #3 WR spot he can help us a lot in the return games. His injury also was his wrist so he could still stay 100% conditioned. I just want him back at KR and PR cause Webb scares the shit out of me and I don't want to have another CB go down to injury.
yagersports Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 It would be nice if this guy would remind me a little of Jermaine Lewis! I miss having a little speedster on the team that can scare the shit out of the other team for 1-2 plays a game!
varaven45 Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Exactly. He could be a key ST guy-I still remember that KR vs Texans last year. Plus, he could really add some quality depth to the WR corps which is suddenly becoming a team strength. Now, what are we doing about the OL ? With Yanda on the mend, Birk still a couple weeks out, and Cousins being considered as an OL starter , the OL looks shaky at best. With this current cast, Bazooka Joe could become the next David Carr who was probably sacked 1000 times in 5 years at Houston. If we dont get that fixed, Joe wont have time to find Reed or any other WRs.

The Rumormill Saturday had Yanda going to RT and Cousins slipping into RG..And its not just Cousins either, Oher looks like shit..

The Ravens aren't going anywhere unless the offensive line either finds itself, which I doubt, or they bring one or two bodies in.

Damn Crav, this OL situation has the feel of the chair reshuffling on the deck of the Titanic Hey, isnt this where Max inserts his Titanic photo ? Joe could be spending this season doing an impersonation of Big Ben. Hope Bazooka Joe likes to throw on the run !
vmax Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Cousins is practicing at guard and Cary Williams is playing with the first team D. According to Harbaugh, Williams has earned the shot ahead of Webb and Carr. Cousins?...they are just trying to find a place for him. Looks like a panic move in case Yanda has to play RT. Maybe Cousins, with his good hands, can at least road grade.
papasmurfbell Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Preston had an article about how they need to move Joe around like with rollouts and bootlegs. It is what they should have done with boller early on but left him back there to take a beating. So who knows what they will do.
