papasmurfbell Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Way to early but if we do the same old thing again I am seeing 9-8. Quote
oldno82 Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Doing the same old thing again and expecting a different outcome is insanity. Our offensive philosophy at the very least needs a major overhaul. Roman and his staff must go. There is talent on this team. The O-line, tight ends and running backs are solid. The quarterback position and wide receivers need new talent. At least the defense is in good shape. I've been impressed with the DC and the acquisition of Smith. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted January 9, 2023 Author Posted January 9, 2023 They love to do the same thing over and over. I am less impressed with McDonald. Smith has saved him. Before Smith was acquired this D was pretty poor. Quote

varaven45 Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Lets hope in 2023-24 the anemic, dysfunctional offense is in the rear-view mirror. Ill be watching tonight's game with hope of things to come and absolutely ZERO expectations for Sunday night's game in Cincy. Afterwards, my mind is programmed for new team and or offensive leadership, QB, philosophy. If it happens, great; If not, another .500 year is in order. I'll remain hopeful and as Andy Dufrain (Shawshank) said, "hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies. Quote
tsylvester Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 No way of knowing right now. Too many questions at qb not just for us, but for many of the teams on the schedule. We should have a better idea after the draft. With this defense, which should remain mostly in tack and healthy, same for the running game, I expect a good year pending who is at qb. I could see as many as 11 wins and as few as 6 Quote
